After five years since its foundation, Wist Entertainment announced that they are working to debut their first kpop group during the first half of 2020. The statement was posted on Wist website and its social media, but nothing more was added, not even if it will be a boy group, a girl group or, who knows, a co-ed group.

Wist Entertainment was founded in September 12th, 2015 by Choi Boyeong, a female producer born in 1981 that studied and graduated in Music Composition at Seoul National University and worked for 10 years for companies like Banana Culture, Starship Entertainment and Cube Entertainment. She founded Wist Entertainment to leave a bigger print on the industry that she dedicated her life to, since "I understood at my own expense that you can't put too much trust in this industry if you depend on someone else. If you're not brave and stubborn enough, you'll end up eaten up like a fish eaten by a shark. And you can't even complain". Even after Wist Entertainment foundation, she still collaborated to produce songs for other companies.
She was known to the public even before Wist Entertainment, not only after, because of her contributes to popular songs like "Ah Yeah", "Hot Pink" and "Lady" of EXID, "All In", "Blind" and "Beautiful" of Monsta X and "Latata" of (G)i-dle.
Her face appeared on social medias in 2013 when EXID member LE was spotted with her hanging out. She also received a lot of support (and also hate) on the same social medias this June (2019), during Pride Month, when she officially came out as a lesbian. Her dating life is still unknown as she said she prefers to keep things private for now.
