    I woke up to my blasting alarm, it was 6 and school started at 8. Ive loved waking up early just so I can take my time getting ready, but today I wanted a slushee from Grab n Go. I quickly got ready, grabbed the leftover cash from yesterday, and walked out the door at 7:10. I started walking there to see a boy on a bike and a dog following him. I smiled at the sight but then the boy fell off his bike. Oh shit.

    I quickly ran over, "Hey are you okay? I just saw your fall."

    "O-oh um im fine. Sorry that was embarrassing."
He stuttered.

    "Don't apologize, this only hurt you." I reached out my hand for him to grab.

    "Alright. Sorry- shit. Um anyways what's your name? " He grabbed my hand and pulled himself up.

    "I'm Vanessa Stagg. You-" "Billy, Billy showalter." He cut me off.

    "Alright, your dog is adorable by the way." I said staring at the dog.

    "Yeah it's always, 'Billy your dog is adorable!' But never 'Billy, you're adorable.'" He fake sighed.
"Anyways i got to go, that was- 8 MINUTES? FUCK!" He shouted.

    I was laughing saying goodbye. I saw him throwing newspapers right after he started biking, he must be a paperboy. I walked in the Grab n Go and noticed vance was there.

"Hey pinball boy." I laughed.

    He was about to scold me before he recognized the nickname. "Hey slushee lady." He replied.
I grabbed my slushee for today and sat next to the machine.

    "Seriously? Slushee lady? Wow.." I dragged out the wow before drinking my slushee.

    He kicked the pinball machine before looking at me, "You got any quarters?"

    I sighed and handed him 2$, "Go exchange them yourself."

    He yanked the dollars from my hand before stomping away and shortly coming back with quarters in his palm. "Thanks slushee girl, you're the shit."

    "I know." I stand up, walking to stand next to him while he puts his change in the machine. "I have to go, schools starting soon you know." I explained to him.

"I'm skipping. Wanna come with?" He invited.

"No, i actually have an opportunity to get a decent enough job when i get outta school."

"Alright, see you later bitch." 

    "Yup, bye asshole" I left. It was about 7:30 so by the time I get home it'll be 7:40. Just enough time for fixing my makeup or something, i walked home and to my luck I saw the boy from earlier!

"Oh, what's up bill?" I shouted from across the street.

    He seemed to have recognized my voice because he looked back at me and walked to me.
"Hey! Nicknames already?"

"You bet. Can't have a friend without one." I winked.

    He turned a little red, probably from me winking or the fact i already consider him a friend.

"Yeah! Alright, Nessa. You wanna walk to school together?" He offered.

"Oh of course! Id love that. But I have to bring my brother, is that fine?"

"Yeah! The more the merrier." He smiled.

    After waiting about 5 minutes from me yelling inside I see my brother come out the door walking to get beside me. "Hey griffie!" I exclaimed, hugging the boy.
