Popularity. We've all thought about it. We've all wanted it. It's natural for us in this day and age. I think one skill we should all learn is how to not think about it and just live our lives. As long as you be true to yourself and keep your reputation as good as you can you'll be fine. Popularity is the modern definition for friendship. Society these days thinks it's friendship when you have a swarm of people following you for juicy gossip or embarrassing secrets.
So focus on your school work and don't worry about that stuff. Keep your grades and your chin up. There is no popularity contest that you can win. Just make friends that you feel like support and encourage you.
Most of this advice I'm giving you I wish I had followed myself. I've had it rough in school because I got controlled by my image and a bunch of selfish jerks who criticized me when I just wanted to be myself. To this day I still have trouble letting go of not being popular. But I need to start getting used to it. I'm giving you this advice to help you and to hopefully make a difference in all the school popularity pandemonium.
