Chapter 5 - Dinner

Once Seek had left, you thought about everything that has happened lately. A normal TikTok could lead up to your life becoming something way more interesting, far from your own imagination. What were the chances that a roblox game could teleport you to the real life version of it? Actually, you didn't think that it was even possible. There must be something that summoned you here. Or was it fate? You also thought about how lucky you got that Seek didn't kill you. That one feeling that Seek felt made you survive. Was it because you came from another world or was it something else? Seek said you were special. But is that so? His intentions were still unknown to you. What if he was lying all along? All of these thoughts, you spent hours trying to figure out the answer to them. Suddenly, Seek knocked at the door. "Uh, Y/N? Dinner is ready. You may come to the dining room." You ran to the door as fast as you could and opened it: "Sure, Seek! But can you show me where it is?" Seek smirked. "That was exactly why I was here, Y/N~" You smiled in gratitude and went with Seek. While you were both walking to the dining room, suddenly Seek started to hold your hand. You looked at him, surprised. "S-Seek?!" He laughed. "What's up? You don't like it Y/N? Well, it's just something I do to those I like. If it's something that's weird in the human world and/or makes you uncomfortable, I'm terribly sorry-" Before Seek could finish his phrase, you answered: "N-No! I love it! I mean I like it! It was just, uhm... unexpected, you know? Plus we've only seen each other for like 2 days in total, excluding the week I slept here while my transformation process was ongoing." Seek stopped holding your hand and said: "I get it, Y/N." You then exclaimed, worried: "No, Seek! I like it, it's just-" You had already reached the dining room and many unknown faces were there. Luckily Jack wasn't there. You took a seat, with your name written on it. Your seat was in front of Seek's. You took a piece of human flesh with sauce and salad. It was delicious, too bad the whole dining room was silent. You looked at Seek and noticed him quite feeling down and that made you feel guilty for what happened earlier. But it still wasn't right for him to do that, you both recently just met each other. You both were part of this monster "family", actually it's more like of a group that wasn't blood related at all, so you could have relationships in there. To break the silence, you said: "What a delicious food this is! You're a really good cooker, Seek." But nobody answered and Seek seemed to be even more sad. This was a way of guilt tripping, but you didn't care about it. You felt guilty, but knew that it was wrong of Seek for doing that without your consent. Suddenly, he walked out of his seat and the plate magically disappeared in the black goo and said: "I'm going to bed." He closed the door and now it was only you with these unknown faces. "Hold on a second..." You thought, looking more at the faces you were seated next to. "Isn't that the guy that scared me in the dark? And that one looks like... the monster that had a killing intent while I was in the closet! 

You tried your best not to stare too long at them, so they wouldn't get a bad impression out of you and ruin their day, just like you did with Seek. Once you finished your dinner, you went to your own room and made a small bedroom accessible only by you next to it that reminded you of your actual world. It had a comfortable white bed, some posters, a drawing set and some plants. Some mangas were around too. You immediately went to bed and slept once you had finished the room. You wanted to sleep and get over that terrible day, as you accomplished to make Seek sad.
