Chapter 31 - Dreams

"Hey, Y/N? Are you awake?"

You opened your eyes to see Seek next to you. "Where am I?" You asked."Well, you're in the uh... "hospital room" of this hotel. Y'know, just like you human guys have!" He said, proud of himself because he read the book you gave him. You giggled. "I'm glad I'm still alive."

Creak...

The door opened.

"HIIIIIII Y/N!!!!!!!!" Rush ran towards you and hugged you around you neck. Hey, hey, Rush! You smiled and hugged him. Alongside Rush were Ambush, Screech and Figure. Halt wasn't there, but that didn't matter, did it? After all last night was fully spent with him. He must've been tired and was probably sleeping. "Hello, everyone." You waved at them. "Hi, Y/N. I have been forced to come here." Screech grunted, rolling his eyes. "God damn it, Seek..." He whispered. "Oh, Y/N. I have heard what has happened to you... I feel so bad! What can I do to help you?" Figure asked, worried. "Nothing. Thanks though, Figure!" You smiled at him, even if he was blind. Ambush simply waved. Rush was still hugging you. "So... Y/N, not to be rude... what happened?" Seek asked. You sighed. "It's a long story..." 

You proceeded to tell everything about yesterday, including Halt getting more comfortable talking to you and overcoming his anxiety.

"I'm happy to hear Halt's doing better!" Seek exclaimed, in a cheerful tone. "Yeah... honestly you just have to prove that you're nice and a good friend, get me?" You said. 

After awhile talking to the others, it was night time. 

"Welp, we'll be going. Take care, Y/N!" Seek waved at you and went outside with the others, closing the door. 

Now it was just you and this room. You looked at the ceiling, thinking about yesterday.

Slowly...

Your eyes were closing and you were falling asleep.

...

"What a nice day... Y/N."

You heard a familiar voice, but more demonical sounding. Quickly, you got up and looked at every angle of the room, except not a single trace could be found. "M-Maybe it's just me being tired, right? Yeah, definitely! I'll just go to sleep and... sleep! Yeah." You thought, quickly. You turned off the lights and closed your eyes. It was time to sleep. You have been awake for too long.

You fell asleep and started dreaming.

- INSIDE OF THE DREAM -

You were in this... weird place. Wait, it was the room with the giant mirror! Eyes' basement! You tried to move but you couldn't. You were stuck in front of the mirror. 

"My, my... we haven't met since awhile, have we?" 

The voice laughed. 

A glitchy figure walked in from the mirror, but you couldn't tell who it was. This voice was clearly familiar, though.

"Who are you?!" You shouted. Your unique and special voice echoed through the room. 

"There's no need to tell you. After all... you'll find out yourself." The figure grinned. It was all glitchy because your mind couldn't tell who it was, but a smile could be seen.

"Mmm... let me just give you a little hint. You have met me before... and you certainly hated me. I'm not Jack, though! That guy... He's so easy to manipulate~" He giggled.

"WAKE UP, Y/N! WAKE UP!"

You heard a loud voice shouting, it was Seek's. It seemed to come from the outside of the dream.

"Aw man... just when we were having a little fun between us two! Ah... but don't worry. You and your little friends will remember me... soon."

- OUTSIDE OF DREAM - 

You suddenly woke up, breathing heavily like if you just ran a whole city.

"Oh my... God..."

"Y/N! Y/N! ARE YOU OKAY?!" 

Seek shouted, with tears in his eyes.

"YOU WERE ALL... YOU HAD SO MANY..." 

Seek panted. 

Everyone was there, except Halt.

Even Screech had a shocked expression...
