(Y/n)'s pov :

Another day of school. wow, i'm happy.
I grabbed my backpack and waved goodbye to my mom and left the house. I walk inside the bus and sat beside my friend, Victoria. "I have so 'many' plans ready for us to do. We have.. making me the best, flex on the losers, take the fame, start a—" Victoria went on and on of her so-called plans. My hearing from her was ringing from her talking stuff.

I looked over at the other seats and glance at Tobey. He was just looking outside the window, looking like a sad british boy that I didn't even notice i was staring at him for 2 minutes. Then he turned and noticed me staring at him. I widen my eyes slightly, but i didn't look away. He smirked and winked at me. A tint of blush appear on my cheeks, this has been happening lately ever since i embarrassed him in front of our class. This and also the fact that he'd call me pet names.

But, enough of that and i won't explain why and how. I shook my head to stop myself from blushing, then i was cut off from my thoughts when Victoria called out my name. "Hey! Were you even listening to me?" She said and furrowed. I turn to her, "Victoria," Victoria then raised a brow. "Shut up. And stop acting like a child." I continue, flipping her off as the bus arrived somehow already in front of our school. Victoria rolled her eyes, "whatever. Meet me at the back of the school when classes are done." She said , standing up and leaving the bus.

"M'kay." I say, as i stood up and started making my way to the doors, Tobey pushed me out of his/the way and leaving the bus as if nothing happened. I groan in annoyance as i stood up and left.

I walk inside the school, the hallway and then my classroom. I took a seat and buried my head down my arms and decided to take a small nap since i slept at like 2 am. Busy making "evil plans". Then, i felt like someone took a seat right beside me. I open my eyes, looked up to only see the Tobey who simps over WordGirl. "Ugh, what do you want from me?" I ask, in pure annoyance. I hate Tobey, heck i don't even remember why anymore.

"Oh, can't i take a seat beside you, darling?" He cooed, teasingly and smirked. I sigh, "Stop calling me 'darling', sweetheart." Oh god, i slipped it out of my mouth by accident. "Well, don't call me 'sweetheart' then." He scoffed. "Fine by me." I rolled my eyes and stood up, making my way to the door. "Where're you going?" Tobey asked from behind.

"I'm ditching. Wanna come?" I invite him, it's like i was being controlled after saying that. I don't even care if i'm not gonna be able to meet Victoria up after school. "Oh, thank you for 'inviting' me. Now, where to?" He asks. "The park?" I answer, unsure. "Alright-y then." He responded, standing up and as i walk off outside the classroom, he follows from behind.

We walk off, on our way to the park. It was silent and a little bit awkward. I decided to break the silence between us, "I'm surprised to know that you'd be ditching school with ME." I say, as Tobey jumped at the sudden comment and turned his head to me. "What about it? And of course, this is my first time." He responded. "Uhh.. okay.." i say blankly since i absolutely don't know what to say at all.

Tobey's pov :

Oh god, i'm this close to (Y/n)! My enemy and my future lover~! Well, what am i even thinking right now? Ever since that (boy/girl), (Y/n) arrived to my school-- (he/she's) been getting on my nerves! But when they suddenly "embarrassed" me, for some reason i started to slowly like them. That's quite strange, might i say..

I take a quick glance at (Y/n), and they're whistling a tune. Oh wow, beautiful. I then suddenly hit myself to a pole- and fell onto my bum. I groaned in slight pain and looked up that we were now at the park. I felt
(Y/n) hold out (her/his) laughter but couldn't stand it, they then burst out laughing. "Pfft- haha!"

"Yeah, yeah. Very funny." I say in a sarcastic tone, stood up and dusted myself off. "Heh-" (y/n) wipes away the small tear that slowly came out. "-whatever."
They said lastly and smiled and left me off here. "Hey! Wait for me!" I shout out, "well, ya gotta catch up- you slow-poke!" (She/he) said cheerfully with a sudden bright smile.

I blush at the sudden change of (Y/n), but i didn't really care. I love this.

3rd pov + Time skip :

(Y/n) pants a lil' after running and sat on the clean grass. She didn't care if there's gonna be dirt on her bum. Tobey caught up, stopped on his tracks and breathed heavily. "I.. finally.. made.. it..! Whew.." he said in each breath and sat beside (Y/n).
Tobey took notice that (Y/n) suddenly slap (her/himself), but not TOO hard. He grabbed (his/her) hand before (he/she) could even slap themselves again. "Why are you slapping yourself?" He asked, furrowing.

"uhh.. i'm sorry for the sudden change of myself a few minutes ago or.. i don't know. I don't know what's gotten into me lately these past few days, weeks and months." (Y/n) said, lookin down but still had their blank expression. "Oh, it's alright." He said. After that, the silence came back but it was awkward instead and a new feeling went in as well. "Hm." (Y/n) hummed, staring at the orange sky. "Dang, day goes fast." (Y/n) said, not taking off their eyes up the sky.

" i guess i'm in a calm and chill mood. Weird. " (Y/n) thought, as Tobey was staring off at (Y/n), admiring (his/her) beauty. (Y/n) took a big sigh, and turned to Tobey. "Hey, i'm sorry for uhm, being mean to you i guess? And i guess i'm also in a calm mood right now." (Y/n) apologized weirdly, and blushed slightly.

Tobey widens his eyes, "oh-erhm.. i-it's alright!" He said and rubbed his arm nervously. Time goes by vey slowly and stars had finally appeared as the sky is pink and orange. (Y/n) stood up, "well, i gotta go now. Or else my mum is gonna start asking me why i went home late." (Y/n) said as Tobey stood up and nodded 'alright'. (Y/n) waves goodbye to Tobey and start to walk away making (her/his) way out the park.

As (Y/n) did, Tobey mumbled something under his breath, trying to not let anyone hear about it. But
(he/she) was able to hear it a little and what (he/she) call out was three words. I love you. (Y/n) blushed at this, and suddenly had a small, weird and new feeling in (his/her) stomach. "I love you too, my lil' bri'ish boy." (Y/n) whispered to (his/herself) as (he/she was already out of the park.
