3rd pov :

(Y/n) walked into the classroom and sat on her chair. The bell rang and their science teacher came in and started discussing. Later, they said about choosing a partner for a science project that they have to do.
(Y/n) stood up, looking at each student on who she'll partner up with. Dib and Zim stood up at the same time, them noticing that they knew what they were going to do and started racing each other to (Y/n). Eventually, Zim won and asked (Y/n) if she could be his partner. "Sure, i can be your partner." (Y/n) said as a blush appeared on her cheeks.

Zim blushed, hating the feeling that he has developed from over the past few weeks ever since (Y/n) came along. He turned around and looked towards to Dib. "Hah! I did it! You lose, stupid Dib!" He said, pointing a finger at him- making Dib furious and having to partner up with the dumbest student in the classroom and not with his long-crush. "Whatever!" He spat out and walked away. (Y/n) giggled and turned to Zim. "Let's go to your house and do the project." She decided, Zim nodded in response and the bell rang, indicating that the class had finished.

~ Time skip ~

(Y/n) pulled our her phone and texted her mother if she can stay the night over at Zim's house for a school project. Her mother agreed and she pumped her hand up in the air. She turned it off and placed it back in her pocket. Zim and (Y/n) made their way to Zim's house, as soon as they arrived- Gir came out yelling out random words, finally reaching to (Y/n) and hugged her leg. "I MISS yOuUUuu" Gir said, grinning. (Y/n) pulled him off of her leg and hugged him. "I missed you too, Gir!" She said, "and you're still as cute as ever!" Still cuddling Gir, Zim felt a bit jealous and thought that he should be the one to be squished and hugged by the one and only (Y/n).

Zim opened the door for (Y/n) to go inside, (y/n) thanked him and got in as Zim closed the door from behind and sat down on the couch, (Y/n) followed and sat next to him, having Gir squirming on her lap to comfortably lie down.

(Y/n) took out her notebook and started flipping through pages to find the notes she had taken down. She found it and showed it to Zim, later on they started planning and doing the project.
As 2 hours later, (Y/n) grew a bit tired. Zim took notice and turned to her. "You're tired already..?" Zim questioned. "Mhm." She responded, nodding her head. "Ok." Zim said back and stood up. (Y/n) felt confused and was suddenly carried by Zim. "What the- put me down, Zim!" She shouted, ending up to laughing at the end.

Forget dinner.

Gir woke up instantly and quickly ran to them. He ran straight through a door, making a hole. He opened it for them to come in from the inside and rolled his way back down to the living room. Zim walked in and placed (Y/n) down as she stopped laughing. "You rest! I'll need your energy for tomorrow! Goodnight!" Zim said, pointing a finger at her- looking serious.
(Y/n) on the other hand, found it hilarious. She chuckled and lied down on the bed as soon as Zim left the room.

(Y/n) checked and looked at the door to see if he was still in the room and none. She went back to the bed and snuggled his blanket. "Mm, warm." (Y/n) thought as she blushed. She cuddled onto it and fell asleep afterwards. LAter, she woke up, feeling arms around her and something on her head

She looked up to see it was Zim, cuddling onto her as if she was a teddy bear. She blushed slightly and tried to fall asleep but couldn't. She slowly slipped herself down to get out of his grip onto her, Zim suddenly pulled her up, feeling a bit lonely. (Y/n) thought it was cute.  he looked down at (Y/n) and noticed he was snuggling onto (Y/n). He blushed a hue blue and immediately took his hands away from her. "I- apologize for that." He said and got out of bed, leaving the room. (Y/n) who was lost in thought, snapped out of it and blushed. She realized that Zim left and she frowned. "Darn it." She thought, crossing her arms and pouted. 'She wanted to be under Zim's arms and hug him, but he left for an unknown reason.' She thought.
