After leaving Tomes and Scrolls with Remus, Marcella soon joined Lily and Marlene in Madam Puddifoot's tea shop. Remus accompanied Marcella to the tea shop so she wouldn't get lost and once they were there, he took off to The Three Broomsticks, expecting the boys would be there.

James and Sirius were right. Madam Puddifoot's is not the kind of shop she'd willingly walk into. The teashop was just too pink, it made her head spin. But she spent her remaining time there with Lily and Marlene, regardless.

After having dessert at Madam Puddifoot's just like what Lily had planned for the girls, they finally decided to go back to the castle.

On the way back, Lily and Marlene were both pleading Marcella to have a sleepover with them in their dormitories.

"Please, Marcie? We were supposed to spend the whole day together but the boys ruined it. It's the least you could do." Lily pleaded with a pout.

"Yeah, come on. Tomorrow's a Sunday. Let's have a little fun before class starts again next week." Marlene insisted. "We have an extra bed too. It could be your bed as long as there's no new student coming in."

Marcella pondered for a while. She did finished her homeworks the night before and having a sleepover with the girls does sound fun.

She puckered her lips. "Hmm. I don't know..." She began, which made the girls groan. Marcella then laughed. "I'm joking. Yes, I'd love to have a sleepover with you girls."

Lily and Marlene then beamed and the two girls began skipping all the way to Hogwarts, dragging Marcella by her hand, prompting her to skip with them as well.

After having dinner in the Great Hall, true to her words, Marcella followed Lily and Marlene back to the Gryffindor tower for their sleepover. She brought along her bag that was enchanted with an Undetectable Extension Charm and filled it with some clothes, skincare and haircare products along with the treats and book she bought earlier.

When the girls arrived at the Gryffindor common room, Lily muttered the password and when Marcella stepped into the common room, she couldn't help but secretly compare the Slytherin common room to the Gryffindor common room.

The Gryffindor common room was adorned in red and various hues of red. It was filled with squashy seats and tables. Many windows looked out onto the school grounds and one wall was occupied by a big fireplace. Above the fireplace, a mantle was ornamented with an image of a lion — their pride and joy.

It definitely gave Marcella a different feeling as she stood inside the common room. The Gryffindor common room gave off a warm and home-like feeling where you could spend hours mingling with your friends. Whereas, the Slytherin common room gives off a more royal aesthetic, which is ideal for the ambitious Slytherins. It is one of the more luxurious common rooms, with its greenish tone, lights and leathered sofas.

Because it is created around the primary Slytherin principle of ambition, the Slytherin common room would appeal to Slytherins far more than any of the other houses, and that is why Marcella secretly prefers her common room more than the Gryffindor common room.

"So, what do you think?" Lily inquired from her side.

"It's... very bright. Very red." Marcella replied as she looked around the common room.

Marlene then snorted. "Typical Slytherin."

Marcella shrugged at Marlene's comment and continued looking around. She couldn't help but notice a few students were staring at her. She expected that she would be receiving stares and glares from the rest of the Gryffindors. They might be used to her sitting at their table from time to time but having her, a Slytherin, inside their common room, they couldn't help but have their guards up.
