Ch 8

Once I reach the stray kids dorm I thank the driver before heading inside immediately taking my shoes and coat off. I then turn only to smile in amusement when I see Chan asleep on the couch. Making my way over I grab a blanket and gently drape it over him go to head for his room only to stop when I hear Chan's sleepy voice. "Your back late." I turn to him seeing him give me a tired look and I smile apologetically. "Sorry we got caught up talking and next thing I know it was late." He sits up rubbing his eyes. "It's okay. Did you have fun?" I can't help but smile and nod. "Actually yeah. He's a really sweet guy and kept reassuring me that if I wanted to I could call and check up on Lawson. Speaking of which how is he?" Chan gives me a reassuring look. "He's fine. I explained where you were, read him a bedtime story with his stuffed fox Rory and he fell asleep immediately." I relax and look relieved. "Good. You sure you don't want your bed? I can sleep on a cot while you sleep with Lawson." He immediately gives me a look. "I appreciate it but I'll be fine on the cot for awhile I already have it set up. You two take the bed." I sigh but know not to argue with him so I nod and head for his room grabbing some pajama pants and one of Chan's hoodies then go to the bathroom to change. Once I'm done I tiptoe into the room and carefully slip into the bed beside Lawson while Chan takes a cot across from us. We wish each other a goodnight before Chan turns the lamp off and Lawson snuggles closer to me as I fall asleep.

(Taeyang's Pov)

I watch as Shade leaves my hand going up to touch the spot on my cheek where he kissed me before heading back to my dorm. Once I enter the dorm I take my shoes and coat off then start to quietly head to mine and Hwiyoung's room only to pause when I see Youngbin in the kitchen drinking tea. He looks up and gives me a smile. "Hey how was your date?" I can't help but smile. "It was great. We ended up talking later than usual and he had to get home to his son but we promised to meet up again soon." He nods a little smile on his face "I'm happy for you. You should probably go get some rest though we have a busy schedule in the morning." I nod wishing him a goodnight before going to change and climb into my bed slowly falling asleep thinking about Shade.
