Ch 10

The next day I'm sitting in the living room of stray kids dorm watching Lawson playing with his stuffed toys in the floor when suddenly my phone starts vibrating with a phone call. Seeing it's from Taeyang I answer it curiously. "Hello?" I hear shuffling on the other end before Taeyang's voice comes through the speaker. "Hey! I was wondering if you were busy. I managed to get ahold of the person renting the apartment and she said she could view it to you today." Blinking in surprise I can't help but look around. "Um no I'm not busy but I don't have any way of getting down there. The guys are all at practice and I'm at the dorm with Lawson." He hums telling me to hold on before I hear muffled voices for a second then Taeyang's voice is back on the line. "Zuho hyung and I are coming to get you." Before I can protest he gives me a cheerful "be there soon!" before hanging up. I shake my head with a sigh then get up looking at Lawson. "Hey bud let's go put your toys away and get some shoes on. We're going to look at an apartment today." He immediately perks up and grabs his toys running to Chan's room with them all in his arms cutely stopping and running back when one of them falls then goes back to running to Chan's room putting all his toys on the bed. I follow him inside grabbing his paw patrol sneakers and help him put them on before putting on some sneakers too. I then pick Lawson up and go to wait outside the dorm only having to wait for about five minutes before a car pulls up I see Taeyang in the passenger seat. Smiling I quickly get in the back buckling up and hold Lawson on my lap immediately looking at Zuho appreciatively. "Thank you hyung I really appreciate this." He gives a small smile back. "It's fine. Taeyang says you really need to get this apartment." I immediately nod. "Definitely because Chan needs his bed back and everything." Lawson cutely looks out the window before he looks up at me pouting. "Daddy will you play the scream song please?" I immediately blush and feel embarrassed. "Um I don't know bud." He immediately gives me a puppy dog look bouncing up and down drawing out the word please. "Please.....?" I sigh before pulling out my phone Taeyang and Zuho looking at me in confusion. "The scream song?" I look through all my songs on my phone saying to both of them. "You'll see in a minute." I then press the song scream by sf9 and Lawson immediately claps his hands happily and starts to sing along. Taeyang and Zuho both look amused as the little boy dances and sings along to the chorus. Once the song ends Lawson immediately pouts and whines. "Again! Again!" I shake my head smiling. "Maybe later bud." He pouts and huffs but goes back to looking out the window mumbling the song under his breath. I look at Taeyang a tired smile on my face. "Ever since you guys came out with that song he's made me play it every day nonstop because he loves it. Which it's not that bad because I like it too but still every day is a lot." They both smile. "Well we're glad you guys like it." Soon we arrive at the apartment complex I getting out of the car and Taeyang gets out with me. We approach an older woman with polite smiles and bows Taeyang motioning to me. "Ms Lee this is Shade the one I was telling you about." She smiles cheerfully at me. "Well let's get this viewing started shall we?" I nod and we follow her inside up to the second floor and to a door she opening it with a key and I walk in immediately shocked by how large but comfortable it is. I gently set Lawson down who immediately starts running around to explore. I peek into the bedrooms seeing that there's three medium sized rooms I nodding in approval. Once I'm done looking at the large comfortable kitchen I look at Ms Lee with a smile. "I really like this place." She smiles happily at me. "Great! And it's a really good place for a small family such as yourselves." I nod in agreement smiling. "So when can I pay?" She looks thoughtful for a moment. "Well I have the paperwork in my car you can get everything settled now." I immediately smile happily and nod she excusing herself. Suddenly I hear the song scream playing again and immediately turn only to pause when I see Taeyang teaching Lawson how to do the dances. I smile softly and pull out my phone sneaking a picture of the two of them together before turning my attention back to Ms Lee when she comes back. I fill out all the necessary paperwork before writing her a check hanging it over with a smile as she hands me the key. She then congratulates me and excuses herself I looking down at the key with a smile only to jump startled when arms wrap around both my waist and my legs. Looking down I see Lawson holding onto my leg and Taeyang kisses my cheek making me blush. "So you officially have an apartment." I nod smiling. "Yeah now to go furniture shopping and everything." He smiles and nods. "How about we head over to my dorm?" I turn and raise an eyebrow at him. "There's nine of you how are Lawson and I supposed to fit?" He shrugs. "I can kick Hwiyoung out of the room for the night." I immediately shake my head and protest. "No. I'll have Chan come pick me up. We can have a sleepover when I get furniture moved in here." He pouts but agrees and I call Chan to come pick me and Lawson up wishing Taeyang a reluctant goodbye once Chan arrives I giving Taeyang a little peck on the lips before leaving.
