First thing in the morning, right after Livia woke up, her maid urgently hand her a letter from the Imperial palace.
She already had an idea whose the letter from, and she was not wrong.
It was from Asil.
It had already been two days since their last encounter. After she asked the prince on how to make the mark disappear, the prince never visited her.
She was relieved, but guilty and worried. She might've hurt his feelings, and now she's determined to apologize.
She only realized that it was extremely rude of her to ask that. More importantly, to someone who bears the same mark as her.
She's ashamed of herself...
To the youngest daughter of Duke Laurent, Livia Elaine Laurent
I have an important matter to discuss with you, if you have the time, can you come in my palace?
From Asil Eracio Arthfael, Crown Prince of the Empire.
Livia blinked as she finished reading the letter. It was different from what she had expected. She thought the prince would send a letter that atleast will cover the whole paper, but not even half of it was filled with his writing.
She was not sad, she just had her hope up, a little bit.
"I'll go to the Imperial Palace."
.·*·.
As Livia's heels touched the ground, she immediately look around and she can't help herself to stop her mouth from opening.
The Crown Prince's Palace was luxurious and big. It screams money and wealth. The entire Palace walls was adorned with golden linings.
A pair of shoes stopped in front of Livia, she looked up to face the man, his eyes were dark blue and his long light yellow hair fascinated her eyes.
It was such a bright color.
"Welcome Princess." Atlas greeted and bowed before gently holding Livia's hands and giving it a light kiss at the back of her palm.
"You may not recognize me, but I am His Highness the Crown Prince's aide."
"Oh no, of course I remembered you. You were with His Highness the first time that he visited my house."
Atlas flashed a smiled and felt happy.
"What an honor, however I think we should go inside now, have you already had your breakfast? I could tell the palace's chef to cook for you and tell the patissier to makes some sweet deserts."
Livia gently put her hands to Atlas's stretched arms, it means that he wanted to escort her inside.
"His Highness... Did he already had his breakfast?"
"Ah, I am afraid not. His Highness never eats breakfast, he only drinks coffee in the morning."
Livia nodded and followed behind Atlas.
They reached Asil's office located to the main building of the palace. Before knocking, Atlas cleared his throat first before gently knocking on the office door.
