The time has come to return to our journey. I thanked the butcher and paid him for his trouble, which he graciously accepted. On each coin was marked a cross, a symbol to convey his role in shaping the fate of our world. Though he doesn't know it, his stock has been contaminated with a new plague, and we are to be the first carriers of this God-mandated scourge. Neither storm nor mutiny can get between me and redeeming mankind.
