Yourself, Silver, and Amy were wandering the forget compound that was the suburbs of Soleanna. Eggman had been ushering people out of the city in an attempt (to probably limit prosecution of the law) and reduce casualties.

Amy had taken the lead, despite your innate knowledge of the inner city-, leaving you to talk to Silver. You never expected to see the future boy here in the past, aka, your present.

Silver was looking out across the ocean as if it was some magical phenomenon. But yet again, you realized where you met him. In a rotten hellscape dominated by fire and decaying buildings. And now he was here in the bright, sunny and peaceful world that you just thought of as simply 'everyday.'

It got you thinking.... Turning to the boy, you asked him something rather peculiar after you realized it. "Mephiles sent me home, but you to the past. Why?-"

Silver put his hands together as if playing anxiously with his thumbs, "I have a mission. You saw all that fire where I'm from right?"

"How could I not, It's so- devastated." You lowered your eyes at the thought of whatever caused all that, knowing that it was Silver's home. Maybe he watched it all happen.

The hedgehog continued, "Something from this point here started all that chaos. I'm here to stop it."

Your eyes widened back up at what your friend stated. "W-what? Here in Soleanna?" Under your watch.

"Mephiles gave me the details. I won't stop until I defeat that flaming monster Iblis."

You skipped in front of Silver after hearing the familiar name, disregarding the new one "But who is Mephiles, and why would he help you? . . . How do you know he's right, or lying?"

"I dunno- maybe he's from the future too."

You stopped walking, confronting Silver. "What has he told you?"

"I can't tell you that-" Silver paused, thinking to himself. THe little boy had a very hard time keeping secrets, so of course he peeped out, "...but the hedgehog who set my world on fire, created the greatest rap of all time. Does that ring any bells?"

'Rap' was something you'd never heard of, not in your somewhat renaissance society. "No, we don't really have that kind of whatever that is here."

"It's a form of music." Silver elaborate.

"Ritualistic?"

"I guess so." In this case, it would have to be the only answer really. Ritualistic songs to summon demons like that 'Iblis' Silver mentioned.

Your conversation was interpreted by:

"Rituals! Like summoning the devil? I love to do that in my free time!" Amy jumped in the air at the thought of doing such tyrannical and sadistic things. You had no idea what was in this girls head but it was not good.

Maybe putting her out of her misery would be an act of mercy.

Silver started walking again, sighing at the deranged comment, "I'm not trying to summon it you weirdo. I'm looking for the creator of the rap that was so fire, it set fire to the world and now-"
