Chapter 2

I'm dreaming. I'm totally dreaming. You'll wake up soon Luna. Austin laughs and says "You're not dreaming, love." "I said that out loud didn't I ?" He nods. After a moment of silence he finally speaks up. "So tell me about yourself." I tell him everything about me. From my favorite color to favorite type of ice cream.

After I'm done talking he smiles and says "Well Luna, how would you like to be my daughter?" I grinned "I would love too Austin." He stands up and holds out his hand for me. I gladly take it and we walk to Miss.Hecks office/dungeon. She looks up and smiles a HUGE smile. "So you're going to adopt Luna am I correct?" She asks politely. "Yes Ma'am I am."(Sam I Am hehe)Austin says. I pipe in and say "Austin. You just sounded like Dr.Suess." He giggles and nods. "I did didn't I."

When he was done filling out the adoption papers they told me to go pack my stuff cause they needed to talk alone. I ran up into my room and packed all my stuff. Which wasn't a lot. Three pairs of skinny jeans, a pair of sweats, some band merch, and two plain black shirts. I only had one pair of shoes so yeah. Oh wait! I forgot something else. I ran into the bathroom and moved a part of the old floor board. I saw it. That shiny piece of metal I haven't seen for six months. I picked it up, put the floorboard back into place, ran back into my room and put the blade in my makeup bag.

When I was done I grabbed my bag and trudged down the stairs. I was met with a worried looking Austin and I immediately understood why they wanted me out of the room. She told him about my depression. I shrugged off and smiled at him. He smiled back and we walked out to his Range Rover. He put my bag in the back and we got in.

"Hey, do you mind if I play some music?" I asked. "No not at all." He replied. I smiled and plugged my phone into the aux in thing and started playing Dammit by Blink-182. Austin grinned widely and started singing. We sang for a while then we got to the mall. Before he got out I asked him "Wait Austin, why are we here?" He looked at me and shook his head. "Luna. You have a bag of clothes. You can't go on tour with just that." He had a point.

We got out and I ran over to him and grabbed on to his hand and he smiled down at me. We got in the mall and we immediately went the way to Hot Topic. *Spongebob Voice* ~Two Hours Later~..
I swear this damn man bought me all of Hot Topic. I begged him not to let me get more than I needed, but nope. He just kept getting me things. When we went in to Victoria Secrets, he literally looked like a lost puppy. We went to a lot of other stores and we are POOPED OUT.

We put all the bags in the back and got in. I leaned over the seat and kissed his cheek. "Thank you so much Austin. You don't know how much this means to me." I said In tears. He got out of the car and came over to my side. He opened the door and beckoned me out of the car. I got out and he pulled me into a big Carlile hug. This all felt right. I have a dad. A new life awaits me. Everything's perfect.
