How does one live after the end of the world? Well that's an interesting question. I myself don't even know how, and I'm alive. Despair has tainted this land. It was once a beautiful place. Everyone felt safe, at home, and liked they had a meaning. But now it is hell ridden. Literally. Welcome to the once humble kingdom, Cadatha. The king and queen have been killed by none other than the evil in this world. Well, more like the nether. None other then Herobrine has taken it upon himself to rule us. Our kingdom is the biggest in the land, so being taken over isnt exactly the best thing thats ever happened. Note the sarcasm. He took out the surrounding kingdoms as well. I hate him with all my might. He killed my family when this happened. Which was around 15 years ago. I dont remember much about them. Only faces that echo with no names. Yeah, its kinda sad.I live in a little village on the outskirts of the kingdom. My name is Adam, I'm 19 years old, and this is my story.
Right now I'm knocking on my best friends door. His name is Seto. Oh i forget to mention, all the sorcerers have been killed. Well, not all of them. He is the only one left. Magic is strictly forbidden. I find it strange how Notch hasn't done anything. But i guess Herobrine is too powerful now he has his own human army. The door suddenly jerks open. I am greeted by messy brown hair and a warm smile. I smile back. Seto gestures for me to come in. I walk into his humble adobe. Its quite small. But then again, everyone has small homes. Its a necessity. He walks down an empty hallway. His red cape flowing behind him. He walks up to the empty wall and places a now glowing purple hard onto the hard wall. The sound of stone scraping against each other fills the hallway. A room appears. Seto's magic room. It has been lit by all the Potions, Brewing stands and enchantment tables the room. Magic is truly beautiful, but also dangerous. But I trust seto. I don't think he is what herobrine has made sorcerers out to be. I walk up to one of the many plush sofas in the room and plop onto it. Seto walks up to a shelf and pulls out one of the many books. His brown eyes search through the book. Once he seems to have found his page, he looks up to me. His brown hair pops out of his white head band into his eyes. He huffs and pushes it out of the way. I chuckle. He passes me the book. I give him a look, one like, Whats this?
"Just read it." He orders me. I sigh and look down tot he page. An amulet is on the page. There is a purple gem in the center. Its outlined by gold, and is held by a silver chain. I run my finger over the page. Its beautiful. I look to the passage and start reading it. It talks about the amulet being passed down from ruler of this kingdom to the next heir. The amulet has the power to destroy any evil. I look up to Seto with a shocked expression. This could defeat Herobrine! He smiles at me and walks over to a desk. I follow him. He pulls out a rather large scroll and throws it across the large table in the middle of the room. A map. I look around it. The center is our kingdom. The Castle is the center and small villages surrounding. A large iron fence has been drawn around every single village. Its what keeps everyone in this hell hole. We cant leave. If we could, I would've left a long time ago. The outside seems to be a dense forest. The castles the were destroyed by Herobrine are scattered everywhere. They have a red line running through them. But, I notice three small circles around the map. They are all outside of the fence
"This is the kingdom and the surrounding area. Herobrine managed to break the amulet into three pieces. They are all heavily guarded across the land. Ive managed to pinpoint there locations. The purple Gem of friendship. The chain of courage. And the golden ring of love. However, I do not know which one is where." He sighs. I nod and stare at the map.
"We are going to find them." I say. He smiles and nods.
"But there is a problem, how are we going to get out?" I ask. He raises his hand and a purple flame appears.
"I'm a sorcerer. On your work shift tomorrow, we will sneak out. I can create a hole in the fence. We will most likley get caught, but not until we are out. We have the element of surprise, Herobrine thinks all the sorcerers are dead." He says calmly. I nod. I forgot to mention, we have work shifts. I work in lumber. Mining is bad for me, as I'm claustrophobic. There is no way in hell am I going to become a recruit for the army. I am NOT fighting for that sick bastard. Seto rolls up the map and places into a bag. I start to leave. If im out after the curfew, I am screwed. I walk out into the cold night. Despair lingers in the air. Why is this place so depressing? My feet crunch against the gravel. Eventually i make it back to my pathetic excuse for a home. The door opens with a loud creak. I start to back my bag for when we leave. Which is food, water and medical supplies. Once I'm finished. I jump into my bed and let sleep consume me.

I wake up to the sun on my face. I groan and get up. Once i finish my morning routine, which consists of eating, brushing my hair into a small pony tail and putting on my usual attire which is black pants, black and grey shirt and sunglasses, I grab my bag and head out the door. Everyone is already out and about. I walk against the crowed until i come across a line of people with iron axes in their hands. Oh no, I'm late again! I groan and go over to the box with axes in it. Once i grab one, I walk over and join the line of people. They all stare at me. I'm always late. What can I say, i need my beauty sleep. Seto is there. He smiles at me. He isn't wearing his sorcerer robes, just some casual tshirt and jeans. Its a beautiful day. Not a cloud in the sky. Thats good though, easier to escape. Shivers run down my spine just thinking about it. Its such a risky move. But I would rather die trying, not just sit around when an opportunity is open to us. A guard walks up to us and guides us into the near by forest. He draws his sword and tells us to get to work. Seto and I start chopping trees that are right next to each other. I look around. between some trees i can see the fence. It looks like its about 50 meters away from us. I cast a look to Seto. He nods to me. Then, we bolt for it.
People on there shifts just watch us. I'm not sure if it was in awe, disgust, or jealousy. The guard starts yelling and chases us. I drop my axe and keep running. The iron fence towers over us. Seto changes into his sorcerer robes using memory magic, as he cant cast spells in his normal clothes. He throws some type of spell at the people behind us. I can hear the screams of whoever that hit. Seto holds his hand out and the iron starts peeling away, it makes a hole big enough for both of us to fit through. I start puffing. I don't think Ive ever ran like this before. There are more people then before behind us now. I can hear there screams and the clunk of metal. I jump though the hole and so does seto. He quickly closes the gap before anyone else can get out. I look back to see a dozen men shaking at the iron bars. I smirk. They start yelling at seto, about how he should be dead and for us to come back. I feel a hand on my shoulder, seto. I turn around and we start running towards the forest. We need to find cover and quick, or we will get caught by the guards outside the fence.
The darkness of the forest starts to consume us. Trees tower over us. We jump over tree roots. Cuts from the foliage are probably all over us right now, but i don't care. Eventually I have to stop. I sit on a near by fallen log and catch my breath. Seto comes up and sits down too. We both pant. I reach into my bag and grab a bottle of water. I take a big slurp and hand it to Seto. He also drinks alot. I put it back in my bag. Seto stands and summons a belt with throwing knifes, and hands it to me. I take it and tie it around my waist. I have really good aim. This is the first time ever felt free. We are finally out of that hell hole!!! Never before before have I ever felt that alive. Adrenaline ran through my body. I like breaking the rules that that idiot placed. I start to laugh. Seto giggles too. This is going to be one heck of an adventure.
