Chapter 4: first mission

I waved and left. As I was walking I saw Tanjiro-kun and Sakuya-Chan
I walked over to them and
" hi guys" i told them with a close eyed smile. Tanjiro-kun and sakuya-chan turned around and smiled,

" hi sakura- chan"

" Hey, Miss. Tsugikuni."

" So did you guys get your first mission too?"

" i did apparently there might be a demon in the village north-west, and there kidnaping women"

" yeah i have that same mission too."

" Oh me too we all get to do this mission together" I clasped my hands together. We started to walk again and I looked curiously at the box he had on his back.

" Hey tanjiro?"

"Yup" he turned to look at me.

" What's that?" I said , pointing at the box. Then I stopped when I smelled something.

" Is that a demon..." I looked at him with concern.

" yes it is actually my little sister nezuko but she hasn't eaten a single soul, and she won't hurt humans." Tanjiro said, looking at the box.

" ok! I might have to report this to my master but he trusts me 100%, so i guess its ok" i told him, wearing a smile.

" Well then we shouldn't waste time, let's go" Sakuya-chan said and ran away.
Tanjiro and I followed her running after her.

After we got there we looked around a bit and saw this kid. He looked like he was depressed, he told us how his fiance got kidnapped and how he wants to find her.

"I'll lure the demons with my blood," sakuya-chan decided, then continued.

"Tanjiro, you keep the boy safe. Sakura, you can either dive into their bog and see if you can save anyone, or you can help me finish them off."

"Ok."

"Okay!"

This sun was till up but almost dark, i pulled sakuya-chan aside and asked her why she was reacting to my name like she'd seen a gost
"Hey, Sakuya."

"Yeah?"

"I noticed that you have a very strange reaction to my last name. Anything up with that?"

She sat there for a second then said,

"No,"

It was like she was talking to someone.

"Okay. Um, what about your swords? I noticed you have two, and you had one during the Final Selection. What's up with that?"

"My instructor gave it to me."

"Ok."

After some time we waited for the sun to set.(we ate moci and ramen) then i hit on a roof while Sakuya was in the alleyway, when she slit her wrist a demon came out of a random portal. Just in time she moved out of the way.

As soon as the demon jumped out I jumped in grabbing the girl and jumping back onto the roof.

"Got her! Finish it, Jatome!"

In a flash i got the girl to tanjiro and got back, i watch sakuya as she used... a sword i've seen before,

~flashback~

"Grandpa grandpa!!!" I squealed , running over to my grandfather. "Hello dear" he said, picking me up and hugging me. "Grandpa, did you kill some demons today? Did you did you?" I asked , bouncing up and down.

"Yes, actually it was one who has sakura flower patterns on their skin," he said sitting down on the first step to our house. " Grandpa! Remember you promised to show me your sword. Mamma isn't here so i can hold it!" I said with a big grin. "Well  okay, besides this sword will be passed down to you although you won't need it" he said pulling his sword out of its sheath.

The sword was black with a red pattern on the blade. "Wow" I said as he handed it to me, I held it for about 30 seconds before my mother came and scolded us.

"dad! You can't give your 5 year old granddaughter a sword, she could hurt herself you know."

~end of flashback~

My eyes widened at the sight. The sword that my dead grandfather had is now in the hands of another person. How was it possible that his body was never found? Was he still alive? Was he a demon like nezuko?, when she was done i hopped down onto the ground. "Where did you get that sword?" I asked, wondering who her mentor was. Who was he and how the FUCK did he get my granfathers sword.

""That's not possible. I know that sword, and I know that there's no way you could have it,the owen's body of that sword was never found."

"There's a possibility that multiple people have the same swords." I looked at her my eyes narrowing

"Not that sword. How about you tell me exactly what your mentor's name was?"I crossed my hands over my chest.I knew that my grandfather had given some of his style to the kamado family where that's why tanjiro had the same demon slayer mark but he never gave any of his stuff to anyone.

"Just give him a second," she began. "He should be here soon."

"Yeah, but who is he?"

Then I hear a familiar voice from behind me. ""I do believe she means me"
