We all have dinner. This was the first time I sit with them and next to Evan." So Aubrey, What do your parents do?" "She is an orphan" Evan didn't give me chance to reply. It hurt when he called me an orphan. I looked at Mr. Davis and nodded. He smile at me and asked another question"In which university did you graduate?" Again Evan didn't give me chance to reply and tell him some university name. I never get a chance to go to university because my mom get Cancer and I have to drop out. I know I was the only one who didn't get graduate. Evan put his spoon on his plate and take a deep breath and looked at Mr.Davis " What is the point of asking this question to my wife Mr. Davis Cooper". We can all feel tension arising between them." What do mean Evan I just want to know a little about my beautiful daughter-in-law.  I didn't see any wrong with it. After all, we are all family knowing little about each other doesn't harm" Mr. Davis explained in his mocking tone."Family,
Do you know the meaning of family?" Evan was also picking fights with him by replying rudely."Evan, He didn't ask anything that offends your wife" Grandma shouted. I don't think I should say something to anyone so just keep quiet."You are right Grandma so as Mr. Davis Cooper said knowing little doesn't harm each other. So Camila, What do parents do? In which university did you graduate?"  When Evan asked Camilla these questions I looked at Camilla she was embarrassed. "EVAN" I finished when Mr. Davis shout and slam the table."What? Don't you say knowing each other doesn't harm? Evan was smirking. "Actually, I am done with my meal so please Excuse me" Evan get up from his seat and looked at me. I was perplexed why he is looking at me. He extends his hand toward me " Let's go," I don't have any option but to just go with him. I grab his hand and stand next to him. " I'm sure, you'll enjoy dinner more in my absence" He smiles and we go toward the main gate. We go out of the house " Where are we going?" I asked him. I didn't have lunch and now dinner is also gone." You didn't have lunch or dinner so we are going out to have dinner" When he said I feel like he hears what I said in my mind. I was pleased that he knew I didn't have a meal today. I think he starts giving me a little attention.  We go to the luxurious restaurant the waiter takes us to our table. I was regretting why I didn't dress up well. I am sure anyone can see my dress up they can tell I am a maid. I looked at the menu and the rate of dishes like they are selling precious stones how can it be so expensive? Evan orders some dishes and we eat. During the whole meal, he didn't glance once at me that so how uninterested he is in me.
After dinner, we are waiting for the diver to take out the car. I feel so satisfied after having my delicious dinner. The tests cost so much but they are tasty. I feel Evan's finger at my neck. He flips my face toward him. before I can look at his face he captured my lip within no time. I was processing what is happing. Evan licked my lips and suck "Uhm" I didn't know what to do. He bit my lips and pushed his tongue into my mouth. It was difficult to take a breath. I clutched his shirt. his hand stroking my hair.
"E, E, Evan" I hear someone call him. Evan breaks our kiss and looks back. I was trying to calm my breath. "Cassie, What are you doing here?" When I hear Cassie's name I looked at the person standing in front of me. I can see anger in her eyes as if she will kill me. I turn my gaze from Cassie to Evan who has a satisfied look on his face and a smile. I was feeling upset to think he is just using me without thinking of my feeling. He just wants to make his ex-girlfriend jealous.
"I was with my friends and you know it is my favorite hotel in the whole city," Cassie said to him. Someone called her "I have to go back," She said and go without listening to Evan's reply.
How can I be so overconfident that he gave me little attention when all he did was for his girlfriend. The driver brings our car and we sit in it. "Do you know she was there?" I can not control myself from asking him. He was looking at his phone and said "Yea, Today is her best friend's birthday and this is her favorite restaurant so I know she will be there." He replies without concern about what I am feeling. I try not to let tears in my eyes fall."Why are we acting in front of everyone when she was not there?"  I asked him. Evan looked at me and grinned "Do you really think I am just doing it to make her feel jealous? No,  I want you as my wife not only for her but also for Mr. Davis." He was just smiling like something is going on in his mind. " Don't you think why My Dad comes back so suddenly he has his plan? And I will not l will not let his plan be successful. So don't make any mistake that I will regret making you my partner" He told me in his warning tone. I nodded.
