The Wild...

I walk through the wild,
Feet bear heart heavy,
Eyes on blurred lines,
My mind wonders wild,
As the wolve sing near,
And shadows play me,
I fall further into the wild,
As the wind calls my name,
I shiver from within my soul,
As I run fast within the wild,
The darkness surrounds me,
Leaving me to wonder for life,
Trees move silently in the wild,
Cutting me off from light,
I shiver and cry out for help,
No one hears me in the wild,
The wind moves the leaves,
It plays upon the shadows,
My imagination is running wild,
Voices call out for me to come,
I try to escape but I'm lost,
Lost within the heart of the wild,
I'm another soul left to wonder,
Left for ever and ever or am I,
My heart crys out from the wild,
A light guides my feet onwards,
My eyes see within the dark,
I walk out of the dark wild,
To find Thee waiting for me,
God is the light upon my path,
No longer will I rome in the wild,
I am free because of the son,
Free because I believe in Thee.
