Finney is a simple guy, but that doesn't mean he will be completely basic.
He's not the type of guy to take you to a restaurant on a date.
Maybe he'll take you to grab some food before or after your date, but he'd never be like "Hey let's go on a date" and then take you to Burger King or something.
I see him as the type who likes to do fun stuff on dates.
He'd take you to a state fair, or maybe to go launch toy rockets with him.
Something sweet and simple.

The drive-in.
No questions asked, this boy is taking you to the drive-in for your dates.
A new horror movie just came out? Best believe he's asking you to go with him.
They're playing shitty romcoms? He's taking you to see them and you two are going to make fun of them together.
The drive-in is easily one of his favorite places, so it just makes sense that he'd take you there.
If you two don't go to the drive-in, though, you're at his place still watching movies because that's just what you guys do.

I don't see Vance as being the most romantic person, so dates don't happen often, but when they do, you're either at the Grab n' go playing pinball together, or you're cooking together.
Vance expresses love in subtle ways; cooking being one of them.
If he doesn't feel like cooking, Grab n' Go and Mcdonald's it is.
When he's in the mood to cook, though, that's what you guys do.
You'll cook all types of things; come up with new recipes, add slight changes to old recipes, anything to just add to the fun.
Then you'll take your food to his room and just chill out for the rest of the time you guys have together.

I see him as the type of guy who would take you to the park.
Have a small picnic, feed some bread to the ducks, and ride your bikes around for a bit. Maybe he'll even bring his dog.
Your dates are always simple, but god are they the cutest thing.
This man would literally hand-feed you some fruit while you lay your head in his lap.
And OMG- imagine you two getting a little circle cake and bringing wine glasses [ don't question where you got them from ] and scooping the cake into the cups.

Bruce considers everything to be a date.
You're going to the mall? That's a date.
You're at his baseball game? Oh that's his favorite type of date.
Just being around you is considered a date to Bruce.
Someone tell this poor boy that just because he's near his s/o doesn't mean that he's on a date with them.
You'll literally just be sitting on his couch eating chicken nuggets and he'll be like this date is going so well 👍.

He'd take you to plant and harvest things in his garden.
Yep, I said it. Griffin Stagg has a garden in his backyard.
He definitely plants your favorite flower/plant in his garden when they're in season.
He would definitely have some sort of a collection [ I think pebbles and stones ] and he'd allow you to help him look for things to add to his collection.
After a day in the garden, you two would make a snack with the fruits and veggies that you picked from his garden.
Either a fresh salad or fruit salad.
Maybe even something else that incorporates those things.

Honestly, y'all would just go rollerskating or something.
Gwen has a fun personality, so she'd definitely want to do something that allows her to enjoy herself and not be cooped up at home.
The roller rink has skating, an arcade, and food.
A perfect combination, really.
You would stay there for hours, doing nothing but skating and eating and gaming.

She seems more like an introvert, so she'd probably prefer something that allowed her to be away from people.
I think she'd enjoy just being at home.
Like, cooped up in either your or her bedroom, just cuddling and enjoying each other's presence.
That really sounds like the perfect date to her.
Just let her be ALONE with you and she's all good.
That's all the girl needs to be happy.
You, her books, cuddles, and her bedroom = complete and total happiness.
