Hardly had Manjiri unfurled her eyelids, that's when her breath was immediately knocked out of her chest in that split second, on sensing their proximity. His closeness always affected her in a really very odd way. She constricted her lungs, preventing them from inhaling enough oxygen. She could sense her pulse picking up pace and heart beating oddly very fast. She wondered was she sick?
"All clear."
Shaurya mumbled with a little quirk at the corners of his lips, which further curved into a sly smile. A smile which could effortlessly lighten up a dark room or brighten up a dull day, in Manjiri's opinion.
He darted his attention from her eyelid to lock his gaze with hers and he just...
Shaurya froze.
He wasn't accustomed to the emotions which were crossing Manjiri's face at then. They were different, different in a pleasant sense. Her eyes seemed to crave the sight of him which obliquely made him softly smile at her more.
