Chapter 4 - Second Rehearsal

Percy's pov

Today's the day of the second rehearsal. I was nervous. Yes it wasn't a kissing part or anything but I still was nervous.

When the time came to go to the drama theatre for rehearsal I was quite tense. Jason was busy talking beside me about random parts in the musical.
When Jason and I arrived we went and took our seats while apollo talked to Mr Brunner our languages teacher.
Once they had finished their chat apollo addressed us:
"Alright everyone! Settle down! Today we are going to focus on 'Benny's dispatch' and 'breathe so if Annabeth Chase, Percy Jackson, Lara Halliday, Sandy Reynolds and Amy Jones could please go with Artemis to the music room to practice 'Benny's dispatch'.
I say goodbye to Jason and follow Annabeth into the music room.
"Now do you know the lyrics?" Artemis asks.
"Very well" Me and Annabeth say in unison.
"Okay and Lara, Sandy and Amy do you know your lines?"
There was nodding from them
"Okay. From the top."

By the end we are both blushing beet red and we won't meet each other's eyes.
Artemis says I can leave as all they have to do is practice 'breathe'.
I speed walk out the door.
Jason raises his eyebrows at me when I walk towards him.

Annabeth's pov

Oh. My. Gods! That was soooo embarrassing!

Artemis asks us if we know the lyrics to 'breathe' and we all nod.
"Okay get ready."

[NINA]
Just breathe

"That was superb! Sing like that and the audience will be really captivated!" Artemis says. Then I suddenly realise that everyone was watching when I hear whooping and cheering coming from the doorway where Percy stood with his mouth hanging open.
"Shut your mouth seaweed brain! You look like you could swallow a whole fish!"
He abruptly closes his mouth.
The cheering was coming from Hazel, Jason and Piper who also stood there.
"That was AMAZING!" Piper practically screamed a massive grin adorning her face.
