Y/n pov:

 as we get to the estate, I hear ear splitting yelling by my brother getting chased around by inosuke, this isn't the welcome I was hoping for, but. It's nice knowing that my family and friends are still alive.

I walk over to them and yell out, "WHATS UP MOTHER FUCKERS" They all look in our direction and greet us, then horrible news came out. "The flame hashira, rengoku...was killed by upper moon 3 during a mission." I thank the person for the news and saw shinobu tearing up. 'This is the first time seeing shinobu cry.' I thought as she thanked the person for the news and started to walk away. I caught up to her and tried to talk to her, but she just ignored me, acted like I wasn't there...but who could blame her, she just Lost a good friend, and a fellow pillar.

y/n pov:

i was walking around the butterfly estate i was about to leave, but i heard a light *fap fap fap* noise. i walked to the door to see what it was then i heard. "harder obanai san, fuck me harder." i knew that was mitsuri's voice, so i slowly opened the door, and saw it all go down, obanai and mitsuri were having sex...

i just stood there, wide eyed at what i was witnessing, then I heard myself yell out. "MITSURI YOU SON OF A BITCH, HOW COULD YOU JUST CHEAT ON SHINOBU LIKE THAT!" that got everyone's attention, they all ran over to the scene, they saw what they were doing, and just shook their heads in disappointment. shinobu was the last one to arrive, and she couldn't handle what she was seeing, she broke down right there in front of us... mitsuri and obanai were done getting dressed by then, and tried to go comfort shinobu.

 "DON'T GO NEAR HER YOU MOTHER FUCKERS,
HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO HER!" they were about to say something about it, but i cut them off. "you know what, never mind, it's just as a shitty explanation as the both of you. so leave. now." obanai tried to punch me, but i grabbed his arm and crushed it out of anger.

he pulled his arm  back and  went away with mitsuri, as they left i ran to shinobu to try and comfort her.

shinobu pov:

i'm crying and i can't stop the tears from the pain i feel because mitsuri just cheated on me, thats when i hear y/n's voice trying to comfort me, she wiped my tears with her hands, i turn my heaad to see y/n's beautiful face... 'did i just think y/n's face was beautiful, why?' i feel her wipe my tears, then out of nowhere, she hugged me, really tight, like i was some kind of mothr figure that came back from the army or something.

i hug her back, and i get up, she picks me up, and puts me on my bed, she covers me up in my bedding. then she says "you need sleep, get some rest while i make you some food ok?" i nod my head, then she says something that made me fall for her, and something i will never forget. 

"ok my little butterfly, get some rest."

i fall asleep, and went to dreamland.

y/n pov:

'what is her favorite food...' i think as i'm in the kitchen trying to find out what to make. i just went to make mochi because it's simple, and i make really good mochi. After half an hour, i made 20 small mochi. aoi  comes in and sees the mochi.

le mochi"

 "did you make those?" i nod, and she looked amazed. "do you mind if i steal half for me and inosuke?" "no, go right ahead, and you never told me you liked the boar head." she blushed at my comment. "I DO NOT" she tried to reject the comment, but the blush gave her away. she sighs in defeat and went to meet up with inosuke, i went to shinobu and saw she was up and working on some kind of medicine. I gave her a light nudge to know that i was there, she looked at me. "the food is ready." she nods her head and follows me to the kitchen. "did you make these mochi?" she asked i nod my head as she took a bite out of one of my home made mochi. "these are good" she says. "thanks, i made these from my mom's recipe." she nods, and we conversate through the night, until we say goodnight and went to bed

the next day:

i wake up, and see a note on my door, i see its from shinobu, i open the letter, and my jaw dropped at what i saw.

le letter:

i ran to shinobu to see if this was a prank or not. "shinobu, what the hell is this." she looked at the letter and said. "my confession letter? what else would it be?" i just stood there in silence trying to process what i just heard. after a few minutes i took the shot. "shinobu?" she turned her head in my direction, and i kissed her right on the lips. it only lasted a few seconds, but it felt like eternity.

i break the kiss, and shinobu is just standing there, blushing out of control. "dose this mean you like me back?" she asks, i respond with this.

"shinobu...i loved you since i layed my eyes on you, i had one of those, love at first sight moments, and i didn't know how to put it, but...by the time i did, you were already with mitsuri, but now that i know you feel this way towards me. i can confess that  i feel the same way."
