My little butterfly (shinobu x female reader) (finished)

Shinobu pov:

"Hey wake up." I open my eyes to kanao's voice, I get up and eat.

Y/n pov: 

"Good your up" I wake up in my new demon body, and realize that I was in front of muzan. "Yes my lord?" He explains on how I have a mission to kill shinobu, the insect hashira, I nod my head, and go out into the sun. 'It's so nice out here' I think as I continue walking through the forest.

I get to the butterfly estate, and decide to make noise to get everyone's attention. They all run outside, and I see shinobu pull out her nicherin blade. "Y-y-y/n?." I hear her stutter the name I haven't herd of.

 "Who is y/n? I'm lazuli, and I'm going to be your killer." I see her assistant aoi come outside to see the commotion, I take the chance, and I speed out, Grab aoi, and go back where i was. "don't come closer, or this pretty lady here dies." they all stop, and i let her go. "anyways, shinobu, you're going to die today, ok?"

 she gets i a battle stance, and comes straight towards me with a thrust, i dodge, and grab her arm, she tries to pull away, i throw her into the air, and i jump up to her level, and kick her back down to the floor. "ow..." she says as she gets back up. i see that she got back up. "oh wow, you are more resilient than i thought, but it will all end soon.

 she starts to sheath her blade, which confused me. "why are you putting away your weapon?" i ask out of curiosity, cause normally, all demon slayers fight to their  deaths. Then I heard her mutter just loud enough so that i could hear her. "if my y/n is gone... then i don't deserve to live, kill me... i deserve it." i stood there in shock, she was giving up.

 "this is a first, a hashira giving up, i thought you people were supposed to be great warriors, so why give up?" i ask this because of shock. "y/n was my world... and now that she is gone, my world is gone, there is no point left to live now is there?"

 she starts to tear up, then i feel dizzy. i close my eyes, and see memories swirling through my head like a video being sped up. i scream out in pain because of how many memories are coming in. i black out because of it.

y/n pov:

"ugh, what happened." i say as i wake up. "AHHH SHES AWAKE!!!" i hear zenitsu say. "oh, hi little bro." i say, they all looked shocked at what i said. "Did I say something wrong?" i see shinobu come in the room.

 "shinobu! why am i strapped to the bed?" I asked, she ignored the question. "shut it demon." i hear her say. i notice she's limping and get worried. "shinobu, why are you limping, you need to sit down." she stopped what she was doing when i said sit down. "sit down... SIT DOWN?!?! YOU WERE THE ONE WHO KICKED ME INTO THE GROUND IF YOU DON'T REMEMBER!"she starts tearing up after saying that.

 i was in shock at what she  said. "you know i was a demon, you lose memories of your human life by that." she laughs at that. "and why would i believe you, say 1 thing that only y/n would say then."

 i think for a second and figure something out. "ok my little butterfly, get some rest...that is what made you fall for me, is it not?" she starts smiling, then crying. "tears of joy, i presume?" she nods her head, and unstraps me from the bed. "come on y/n, lets get you to tamayo to get you turned back.

TIME SKIP TO WHEN YOU BACK HOOMAN:

"it feels nice to get back in a human body again." we all laughed, because i was triumphant-(ish) against muzan. We got back to the estates late at night so we started a celebration.
