3rd Person POV:
Waking up was always a challenge for you.
The reason was simple, really. You just hated waking up a lot. You weren't a fan of mornings in any way, shape, or form. If anything, you loathed the idea of both mornings and the start of new days or beginnings.
The sunlight made its way through your window's blinds' crevices, thus virtually blinding you.
You've always had plans to change the little things in your life; moving your bed out and away from the sunlight was just one of those things you haven't gotten to yet. And as a result, the sun woke you up as it shined directly on your face.
Holding your left arm over your face, you slightly groaned and used your right hand to rub your eyes. It took you a good minute—or two—until you got up and sat on the edge of your bed.
As you sat there pondering whether to shower or brush your teeth, you decided that you'd check your phone first.
'Today's the day... I have to do this...' You thought, staring at the date on your phone. 'I simply can't miss today.'
And it wasn't even morning now according to your phone's time. You woke up in the early afternoon, but you patted yourself on the back for getting up sooner than usual.
You mentally facepalmed as you realized you had forgotten to charge your phone last night. It seemed like you were forgetting the little things and losing your mind every day.
Aside from the battery icon screaming at you to charge your phone, you couldn't help but notice the girl on your lock screen's wallpaper.
Even after all this time, you had no idea when or how she snuck her selfie onto your phone and made it your wallpaper.
You always swore to yourself about changing your wallpaper back to the original one, yet you never did. That was another small thing you keep forgetting to do, but did you really want to do that?
Truthfully, probably not.
Minatozaki Sana.
She stood out like a rare white rose among weeds. Her personality was nothing short of bubbly, optimistic, and charismatic. Not only was she beautiful within, but the Heavens also blessed her with looks that could kill.
Her inviting, kind dark brown eyes...
Those cheeks that you could pinch for hours on end...
Her flawless complexion...
You could go on and on about her, but that would take forever.
Even if you hated the sunlight for waking you up too "early," you were thankful it did since today was a special day for her. Knowing Sana, you knew she'd keep nagging you until you lost your mind if she knew you woke up late for today.
