The following work is a fanfiction of Sherlock (BBC). I do not own any of the characters. I only own the storylines in this particular fan fiction.

Life with Sherlock is obviously never a bed of roses. To say that Mrs. Hudson and I always expect the unexpected is a blatant understatement. I do not intend to give the wrong impression here. Let not the reader think that gunfire was our morning alarm and corpses were an everyday affair till our eyes became sore with the sight of blood and murder was as common as breakfast. Quite to the contrary, there were several days were I was even tricked into believing that my life was simply normal. We have had our funny moments, touching moments, sad moments and even awkward moments. Plenty of awkward moments in fact. Of late, Sherlock has been frequently accusing me of dramatization. That innate flaw of almost every author to add flair to his story. Therefore, I intend to show him what real drama is. Until now, I have restrained most of my narration to our professional life believing that it would be quite a breach of etiquette to venture into an account of the daily happenings of Baker street. But now, that hurdle has been removed as almost everyone chronicled in this account have consented to the story being made public, save of course Sherlock who is in the dark as of now but I do not believe, or at least hope, that he would be too much averse to this. The short narrations that follow this are not in chronological order. They are mainly recounted on my whim to do so and I ask the reader to bear with this . So if some characters simply seem to walk out of the scene, it might be attributed to this factor. Thus all this being said, I shall now embark on my attempt to recount the saga of the Baker street regulars.
