Before a Thunderstorm

As the sun falls
And the clouds come out
The sunflowers will droop their heads
And mourn for the taken warmth

As the wind blows
Like a huge bellow
The wind will be threatening to take plants out of their roots
To stomp our houses flat and force us, in an attempt to survive, to steal, and rob, and loot

As the clouds gather
And loom upon us
The world would be dark and robbed of light,
For the blanket of darkness is nothing near to bright

As the thunder claps and the lighting flash
It frightens the young
And we now know for sure
That a witch is behind all this stir

As the rain come
And drench the people
People moan and people mutter
For a flood is bound to come without a utter...

Of anger
Of disgust
Of resignment
Of fear

For the rain will come and wash all away
And no one can ever keep out of its way
