Run Like You Never Did Before

Life is like a run,

It is, though filled with troubles, is full of fun.

Running while with pride,

and everything shall be right.

As you start, you sprint,

and it starts to taste like mint.

Though it may be tiring,

It is cool and exciting.

After that we might battle with stamina,

as long distance run hit ya.

For long-distance you have to throw yourself in,

and only the best of bests may win.

As life starts to lock,

and you canter to a walk.

You may feel that age weighs you down,

you may sigh as you observe the dawn.

But do not fear how many dawns are left, as it was then,

that people starts to know, what you have done for them.

For as we run we run for others,

and we shall always treat each other like brothers.

This idea was derived when me and Stxxx123 was racing with each other. Hope you like it!!! (P.S. Its my first time writing poems so it might be really bad...)
