Summary

Being born into wealth, Aja Valentine has had everything she ever wanted to be handed to her in life. Her expensive private school education is fully paid for, her designer clothes collection is extensive, and she even lives in her own fancy apartment funded by her filthy rich yet distant mother.

Jesse Hall has had to work for everything he's had. Intelligent, strikingly handsome, yet unsociable, Jesse arrives at Ivy Rose School knowing fine well that he doesn't fit in with his wealthy peers - and he makes it clear that he doesn't want to either.

Between their social statuses and life experiences, Aja and Jesse couldn't be more different. One is a wealthy heiress with a trust fund, the other is a boy who's been in and out of jobs since he was old enough to work. While they get off on the wrong foot, they're eventually forced to spend more time together than they would have liked. Will their surface differences drive them further apart? Or will they find out they have more in common than they thought, especially as they both have rather messy pasts that they'd rather keep hidden?
