The rain poured hard on the night of Adventure City. People everywhere ran around with their umbrellas to their homes, not wanting to stay in the rainstorm. One of these people was a young girl in a pink raincoat and a suitcase. Inside the girl's raincoat was her pet cat. The purple feline meowed in fear as the rain came down harder.

"Don't worry, Cali. We're almost at the train station," The girl said. She ran for a few more minutes until she arrived at the Adventure City train station. She sighed in relief as she entered the station. Now out of the rain, she pulled down on her hood, revealing her long blonde hair. "Phew! Glad we're out of there," She said to herself. The station was strangely empty tonight, but the girl didn't mind. She walked around to find the tunnel her train would be at. Once found, she walked down the tunnel and to the station platform. She looked around to see if anyone else was there. There was someone there, a brown pup. A very familiar brown pup.

"Chase?" The girl said in surprise. Chase looked up and looked at the girl in shock.

"Katie?" He responded. Katie was taken aback once she heard Chase's voice. It sounded very different, much deeper than before. Even Cali had popped out to see if it was really Chase. Chase's fur was much longer than usual and he wore a very thick black vest with a bag attached to his back.

"What are you doing here? I thought you guys were moving to Adventure City later this year?" Katie asked him.

"I've been... away for a few months. Police training," Chase replied. "But what are you doing here?"

"Oh, I've been studying to be a veterinarian for a long time. I came here to do my final exam," Katie explained.

"Doesn't that take years to do? You're only seventeen," Chase said. "Then again, Ryder got a degree in Engineering and I.T when he was fourteen..."

Katie giggled. "I feel like you pups forget that Ryder and I were highly gifted students. I can't blame you though, we were out of high school before you guys were around."

Katie took a seat next to Chase. At that point, Cali had fully come out of Katie's rain jacket. The feline's scent quickly went to Chase's nose, which started his allergic reaction. He looked down and covered his nose with his paw as he let out a big sneeze. Normally this wasn't a big deal as Chase sneezed near cats all the time. But when Katie took a look at him she was horrified to see that Chase had sneezed out blood.

"Oh my goodness!" Katie exclaimed. She set Cali down in a seat away from Chase and went over to him to make sure he was ok."I'm fine. This happens a lot recently," Chase said as he wiped the blood off his nose. Though this only left a smear of blood on his muzzle.

"Hold on, let me clean that up," Katie said. She reached into her bag and pulled out a first aid kit. As she got closer, Chase could still smell Cali's scent on her, which caused him to sneeze blood on his paw once again. He sneezed again and more blood came out. Katie realized she was only making things worse by getting close to him and quickly backed away before Chase could sneeze again.

"I'm fine, Katie. I'll have Marshall check it out when we get home," Chase told her.

While that was going on, Cali's stomach began to growl. She was hungry. At that moment, a stray pigeon that had gotten inside the train station landed on the tracks. Cali snickered as she lept off her seat and crept towards the bird. She pounced toward the pigeon, but it moved away in time, causing Cali to land on the tracks with a thud. The purple feline meowed in annoyance as another meal had gotten away from her again.

Chase's ears perked up at the clicking sound. "Do you hear that?"

Katie looked at him puzzled. "Hear what?"
