Jennifer's POV
It's quarter after one and Harry is still gone. I wonder what they are talking about.
Leah left and the kids are asleep. Oh Harry, come home already.
As I stare out of the window I hear the door being unlocked. Harry! I put down my glass of water and run to him.
"Why are you awake?" he says when he sees me. He is still cold.
"I waited for you" I say as I stand on my toes to kiss him. "I'm sorry about earlier" I whisper.
He stays silent but kisses me back. "He's young and attractive. I get it, even I'd bang him" Harry says in his sarcastic accent that makes me giggle.
"Stop it. I love you" I say and kiss him. I run my hands to his chest when I realize that he walked out wearing a shirt and now he is wearing a t-shirt.
I stop and stare at it. "What's the matter BabyDoll?" Harry asks me.
"Weren't you wearing a shirt?" I raise my brow. He wets his lip and stares at me. "Oh yeah.. But I spilled my drink over so Angelo gave me this t-shirt. We exchanged it"
Hmm weird. "Let's go to bed, I'm tired and I wanna cuddle you" he picks me up and drags me to the bed. I try not to squiel.
"put me down" I whisper mid laughing. He throws me at the bed and hoovers me over. "I'm gonna make you moan my name"
Two Weeks Later.
Harry's POV
Jen's birthday is right around the corner. I have to buy her something good.
"Earth to Harry" Jen snaps her fingers in front of my face. We are drinking coffee at the balcony.
"I was thinking about your birthday" I smile. "Really? What about it? I don't want big parties and stuff just us, mom and Leah and Angelo" she smiles back.
"You got it then" I say and we continue drinking our coffee.
Here I am in the jewellery shop, looking for necklace or bracelet or anything. For now I liked two necklaces but I can't decide which one to buy.
Maybe I should buy both, the one I'll give to Dakota, she's been acting weird lately.
"Did you chose already, Sir?" the sholady asks me. "Yes, actually, I want these two necklaces" I point at them.
I go back in the office, I have a meeting in a while. I can't bring the two small boxes at home so I put them in the desk.
Jennifer's POV
David is at school and Aubrey is at home with me. I'm deadly bored, we already played with dolls, colored a book and we went in the park.
I want to do something for Harry, for our family. Ha! I have an idea, we have recent family photo so I might buy a frame and put in his office.
"Aubrey, baby, let's go shopping" I say to her as she plays with her toys. "Yay!" she squeal and run to get her shoes.
We walk around the mall and find the perfect frame. "Let's go to daddy's office now, shall we?"
"Yes! I miss him" Aubrey says and we head to the parking lot.
We reach Harry's office and his secretary meets us halfway. "Mrs. Connick, nice to see you but Mr. Connick is in a meeting" she says.
"We came to give him a gift, but he can see it when he come back" I say and walk in his office.
Everything is neaty organized, I put the photo into the frame and place it to his desk lamp. Meanwhile Aubrey is wandering around. "Baby don't be noisy"
"Mommy, I found something shiny" she says. I walk to her to see what she is referring to. I see two jewelery boxes. Are these for my birthday?
