It's been two months since I was discharged from the hospital and I'm so happy. So happy because I'm finally literally home.
There has been a lot of get together since with all my friends and a lot of gists.Oh... Before I forget, the school "PLAY" actually held. I was disappointed but they couldn't wait for me. Graduation was last month and "The Play" had to be before we graduated. But I'm glad I was able to watch it. I wasn't on stage but it felt like I was.
My dad arranged with both the school and hospital on how to make sure I was present. So, I was on a wheelchair throughout with a whole medical team close to me just in case. I cried as I watched my friends on stage.
Just so you know, there were some changes in the script and it made me realise that I wasn't such a minor character.
Because of my absence, some characters. Yeah, these things would have happened when I died in the play but when I was gone, it happened faster. I guess I really did have a great effect in "The Play".
Jason in the play, due to the fact that no one could replace me before I was meant to die, had to travel far away to continue his father's business where he later actually met a girl.Felicia, who was just supposed to also be a minor character (she was just my friend) had to take a different role. She kind of joined the female bullies in the play but her own reason was because she loved Jack and couldn't stand the fact that "a nobody" like Victoria was with him. But at the end, Jack still chose Victoria.
That was the end of the play but not the end of what actually happened when I was gone.As stupid as this sounds, I mean, I only saw this in movies. Movies like "boys before flower". Yeah, exactly that movie. I heard Jack's mother threatened to stay away from her son.
It was a big deal in school so I heard Victoria wasn't in school for a whole week because Jack's mother told her to stay away from Jack in every possible and Victoria, being the naive girl she is, skipped school. She avoided Jack in every way, even when he went as far as to go look for her at home, she avoided him.
The only time she went to look for him was when she got to the hospital one day and was informed that someone had paid all her grandmothers hospital bills. The nurse showed her the picture of the person who did and it turned out to be Jack.
At first, Victoria wanted to reject it. She felt like she didn't need anything from Jack and that if she could work harder, she would be able to pay up all the bills. But then, the nurse who she has gotten close to, talked to her and advised her not to return the money. She made her understand that it was going to be very risky if she did and she wasn't supposed to overwork herself like she was doing.
Anyways, I heard they were able settle their differences and come back together even after the witch (Jack's mother) threatened, persuaded and mind poisoned Victoria.
"Darling" my dad called from the other side of my room. "Your friends are here" he informed me, still knocking.
"Oh... OK daddy. I'll be down soon". I answered as I lazily got up from my comfy bed.
"Alright. Don't keep them waiting". He said and I could hear his footsteps fade.
I love my dad so much. He, Mary and my friends have been the best lately. My dad doesn't do to the office as usual, not like he needs to go since he literally owns the place, he just always thinks he has to. But since I was discharged from the hospital, he has been at home, always with me and sometimes Mary joins our little family movies and play dates.
I hurriedly but lazily went into the bathroom. I'm too cold and lazy to shower. I've had my bath but still thought it was proper to shower since I've been doing nothing but lying in bed but like I said, I'm too lazy to care about that.
