"And who is he?" Willy asked as I approached the four. "Chuck." They all raised their eyebrows, waiting for me to elaborate.

"He's new here. I was in the library and he took the seat across from me." I shrugged as they examined him.

"I think he's gonna become extremely popular."
Willy looked over to his friends who were talking to Chuck. "Scared he might steal your friends?" Ida asked.

"Of course not." Willy looked sort of sad. He was never one to get mad.

"Willy!" Aaron shouted the blonde over. "You're safe... For now." I and the girls joked as we walked away, leaving Willy to hang out with his friends.

"He's cute." Gina nudged my shoulder.
"He's weird." I turned around to see him watching us walk away. Giving a polite smile, I turned my head back around.

"Cute though." Becky added.

I smiled as we continued to walk down the leaf filled pathway. It was only 12 past 3 in the afternoon, yet getting dark quite quickly.

The lampposts were due to come on soon.

"My parents aren't gonna be home until past 6pm." Ida sighed. "You could come over to my house." Gina smiled.

"Could we watch scary movies? There's this new one that just released and I've been dying to watch it." Ida chirped.

"No." Said Gina. We all walked in silence for a moment. "Fine." The blonde changed her answer.
Ida grinned.

"You girls wanna come too?" Gina asked.
After School, Willy always brought a group of boys over, and they'd never shut up, so this would be a nice break.

"Yeah, sure."
Gina then looked at Becky. "Yes, but I'll have to use the telephone to phone my mom when we get there." She smiled and we all proceeded to walk to Gina's.

"Who's turn is it now?" Gina asked as Ida pulled out the cookbook. They all turned to me. "I lost the list of who's next." My lips went in a thin line.

"I know. That's why I made another." Gina whipped another out of the vent in her kitchen. "It's Danika."
"How ironic." Ida's sarcastic tone rang.

I bit the inside of my cheek. "If you guys don't trust me to keep it safe we could just give it to Gina or Becky." I think they noticed that I looked down in embarrassment.

"We trust you." Gina put her hand on my shoulder and Ida handed me the book. "I won't lose it." I shook my head vigorously.

I probably would, not gonna lie,
But that's why I have the finding lost things spell written on a piece of paper.

"Just be cautious." Becky smiled.
I nodded and trailed my hands over the closed cookbook.

"We should cook." Gina perked, noticing everyone's sadish face. Soon they turned confused.
"Heh?"

"Not a magic recipe. We haven't cooked normally in a while. I miss it." She continued to speak.
I nodded. "Gina's right. It'll be fun."
