I woke up at 7am from the sound of the alarm I had putted last night. I get up from my bed and stretch, I go to my bathroom to take a shower. I let the water run a little I like having a steamy shower I put my hair in a bun and jump in the shower. After a few minutes I I wrapped the towel around me and got out of the bathroom. "Good morning" Daniel said and looked at me up and down"Jesus Christ " I quickly wrap my hands around the towel because I remember that I'm only wearing that " what are you doing here Daniel? You scared the crap out of me " I said "Sorry, you fell asleep on my shoulder yesterday and I didn't want to wake you up so I stayed here" he said without emotion " can you leave now I have to get dressed" I told him "um yes see you later" he left. After he left I lay on the bed to figure out what just happened. I quickly grab my cell phone and call Margot . "mar mar mar" I said to her as soon as she picked it up "what do you want" she said "yesterday me and Daniel slept together" I said "WHAT DID YOU DO" I rolled my eyes "we didn't do it I just fell asleep on his shoulder " I answered "Christ Elena I've been absent for a little while what happened?" She said "I don't know, I'm so confused, I just want to do well in the tests and this season I don't have time for anything else" "sure keep telling your self that" "stop, this was all friendly and after all I shouldn't Exaggerate about this " I said " and then why did you call me" she said "just to inform you and I was in a panic I had to tell someone"I said "just be careful el your dream is f1" she said but Daniel was also the dream "you're right I know" I replied "so good luck today you have it and just be friendly to daniel no flirting" margot said "okay see you mar " "bye el". I hung up the phone took a deep breath got up dressed in my team shirt and a pair of jeans, my nikes and braided my hair, grabbed my cell phone ,my bag and left the room and went downstairs for breakfast. I entered the cafeteria, I got a croissant, I wasn't very hungry I scan the room to find Amelia, as soon as I saw her sitting with Allison I smiled at and went towards them.
"Hey girls" I said and sat down "hey El" Amelia said "How are you?"
Allison asked me "well I'm excited that the season has finally started and I'm going to get into the car" I answered "that's good, so today you have two interviews after the test to say a few words about how you found the car and about the results. I believe they won't make a comment about your gender in case they do you should calm down and take it easy. I didn't put any interviews before because you might be nervous " Amelia informed me, I smiled "thanks Amelia" she nodded "and I will take pictures of you before and after and during the test so we have material for the team's instagram" said Allison "I hope you get my good angles" I said laughing a little "You're beautiful you don't need anything" she said "why thank you Allison" I ate my croissant and drank a coffee.
"Amelia what time are we going to the track?" I said Amelia looked at her watch and then she looked back at me and said "in half an hour we need to start from the hotel so we can be there on time" she said and I smiled I can't wait my first day as a rookie in formula one of course it's a simple pre season testing but I'm excited. After chatting with the girls some more, I didn't tell them anything about what happened with Daniel yesterday,I didn't think it was necessary after all we are just friends found friendly things I guess...After a little while we went to the circuit. I showed my paddock pass and entered and was immediately inundated with cameras and journalists. I quickly answered a few general questions and took a few pictures and quickly left to go to the garage. I greeted the team and went to my driver's room to leave my things. As soon as I came out I met Daniel. "hi daniel" I said "oh hi elena how are you feeling?" He asked me with a smile "excited" I said he smiled "nice, also Zak wants us for another encouraging speech you know what I mean" he said and I laughed and we headed together to the meeting room. We walked in and saw most of the group sitting me and daniel remained standing "My drivers welcome" me and daniel smiled and nodded. "Today is a very important day it's the start of the season I would like to make a good start and also it's Elena's first day in formula one. We will all do our best for the best!" Zach said and the group clapped Daniel leaned towards me "well that was motivational speech" I just laughed. We went back to our work "see you later, have a nice start" he said and I thanked him and returned the wish.
