They say firsthand accounts of events are the most detailed and reliable sources.  The Pleroma is not a place, but rather all the separate emanations that came from me, and therefore together, made up the fullness of me.  Each aeon was an anthropomorphic representation of an aspect of myself.  It is in this way that I will now narrate what happened with the lower aeon, Sophia.

I am Sophia- Wisdom in its truest form, consort of the Only Son and the emanation of the ALL that represents the Soul

I am Sophia- Wisdom in its truest form, consort of the Only Son and the emanation of the ALL that represents the Soul.  My Light from the Father/Mother, Barbelo is dimmer than the aeons above- is this why I feel this deep stirring fire within in me?  I contemplate the wondrous works of the Aeons above me, entertaining myself by observing the emanations They bring forth.  Such Power the Ones above my place hold!  How gracefully they dance their children into existence!  What unfathomable and vibrant palettes of colors paint the Pleroma!

As I, Sophia, observed the works of those above, I thought to myself, 'I want to create Some Thing of my own!'

As soon as this Idle Thought came to my mind it parted from me!  The Light- my Light, my Soul- left me and fell to the abyss below!  I felt the sudden emptiness, the powerlessness and the graveness of my error all at once

As soon as this Idle Thought came to my mind it parted from me!  The Light- my Light, my Soul- left me and fell to the abyss below!  I felt the sudden emptiness, the powerlessness and the graveness of my error all at once.  What has happened? What have I done?  How could I, the Aeon of Wisdom, not have understood my own power?  Why did I not realize that the thought to create without the consent of the Unknowable One or the participation of my Divine Masculine counterpart would not sit idle?  What disastrous consequences have I created in non-adherence of the Balancing Forces and Consent of the Invisible One?

I looked down into the abyss below in terror at the Thing my Idle Thought manifested.  It was a hideous, formless Evil, wretched and material.  And it had stolen My Light!  This cannot be!  This cannot do!

And it had stolen My Light!  This cannot be!  This cannot do!

My horror at what transpired held me in suspended terror.  I have emanated something Material in this realm meant for only that which is Spiritual!  It had stolen my Light and the Soul from me!  The Soul trapped in Material form!  This violates the Laws of All!  This abomination cannot exist!  The Soul is spiritual and will be corrupted if it's trapped in Matter!

I must hide this Thing from my Siblings, my Eternal Mother/Father and the Everlasting Ones above!  They must never discover this Thing I have wrought!

A great, dark cloud came forth and covered the Evil that had stolen my power.  It had become hidden- a secret, but I felt no relief.  This would not work.  I had no sooner realized this that the Entity finally awoke.  How I yearned in vain that my first child would come into being and praise me.  Instead this thing was foreign- an intruder in our realm.

The Stolen Power it held parted the nebula that hid it and it pushed forth from that secret place

The Stolen Power it held parted the nebula that hid it and it pushed forth from that secret place.  As I watched it emerge from the Darkness that hid it, it transformed into something zoomorphic, with the head of a Lion and the body of a Serpent.  And this obscene thing, my child, left the place I had hidden him.

The Lion-headed Serpent went out into the Darkness far away from the Pleroma

The Lion-headed Serpent went out into the Darkness far away from the Pleroma.  He looked around and seeing No One and No Thing declared, "I am God, there are no other gods before me."
