Forbidden Love (Exdee x Reader)

Chapter 1

I groaned as my alarm went off, signaling that it was morning. I had stayed up all night preparing for my shift at the prison. I had to fix my armor, sharpen my sword and other stuff. I rolled out of bed and changed into new clothes. I did my hair and I walked out of my room. I had to feed my cat first before I made myself food. Her name is Blizzard. She’s an adorable kitten with mostly white fur. Although she has a little black ring around her eye. I got her a few weeks ago. I had found her while running from Bad as he tried to convince me to join the Eggpire. 

I immediately scoped her up and fell in love with her. Her icy blue eyes reminded me of the ice that covered the oceans during winter. Not to mention that she loves cuddles. Anytime I’m sitting or laying down she climbs onto my lap or curls up beside me. “Blizzard! Come here girl! I have num nums!” Blizzard came running in as I sat down her food and water bowls. I giggled and turned to the stove. I quickly made some eggs and ate them. Then I ran into my armor room and put on my netherite armor. I grabbed my trident and sword and put them in my inventory. I gave Blizzard a kiss on the forehead and went out the door, closing and locking it behind me. 

I made my way to Church Prime but was stopped by George. “Hey Y/n! Are you going to work?” He asked. “Well if it isn’t the sleepy mushroom boy! And yes I am heading to work but I’m going to Church Prime first.” George adjusted his mushroom hat and stood up tall. “May I walk with you? I have something to tell you.” I nodded and we continued walking. “So umm. You know how Techno and Philza went to find a base for the Syndicate?” I nodded slowly. “Well they woke a god. And this ‘god’ has been following people around. And well he looks like Dream. He isn’t of course but I just thought I would warn you ahead of time that he claimed Church Prime as his temple.”

I stopped walking and blinked at him for a minute as the information set in. “WHAT!? Ok ok so there’s a random ‘god’ following people around and this ‘god’ claimed Church Prime as its temple. And he also looks like Dream.” He nodded and I pinched the bridge of my nose and huffed. “I’ll deal with it later. I need to go pray. Bye George, be careful!” “I will!” He waved and ran off. Once I got to the Church I prayed and drank some of the holy water. It seemed to weaken the effects of the Egg. This church is also the only place other than my house that the Egg’s vines can’t get to as I seem to be just out of their boundaries.

I thought I heard something move as I left but when I looked there was nothing there. “Hmm… Weird. I need to get going. I don't have time to play scooby-doo.” I ran off and headed towards the prison. “Sam! I’m here!” I huffed in between breaths. “Good. I need you to go into Dream's cell and replace his clock again. He keeps breaking it.” I sighed. This was like the 100th time this week and it’s only Tuesday. 

“I’m on it!” I stood on the platform and rode it across the lava mote that surrounded his cell. At the moment Techno was locked up as well. He was locked up there right after he returned from the exploration he did with Philza for the syndicate. “Oh? Where’s Sam?” I heard Dream question as I entered the cell and the lava wall went back up. “He’s watching the outside now. Stop breaking the clock! We can only make so many Dream! Oh. Hi Techno.” Techno waved from the corner he was on. Dream groaned. “Well I’m bored!” “Prison isn’t supposed to be fun, idiot. Maybe if you hadn’t fought over land, manipulated a child, or killed people this would’ve happened hmm?” He rolled his eyes as I replaced the clock. I stepped in front of the lava wall and yelled, “Okay Sam! I’m ready to come back!” No response. “Sam!?” No response. “Where did he go…?” Suddenly we heard swords being drawn and fighting commerce. 

“Hang on Y/n! We have an issue out here. Watch them while me and Ponk deal with this!” I heard Sam yell. “Damn it.” I cursed under my breath. I heard Dream snicker. “Shush Dream. I’ll just sit right here until they let me out.” “In front of the lava? Are you sure that’s a good idea with me here with you?” I groaned. He was right. He could push me into the lava easily. I moved into the closest corner to the exit and sat down. I guess I ended up falling asleep because when I woke up and a huge version of Dream was standing in front of me facing the opposite direction. I knew this wasn’t Dream though because the person was way taller than him, had large white feathery wings that reminded me of Blizzard's white fur and he was wearing a long green robe with golden accents and a hood.

“Woah! Who the hell are you!?” I yelled, hurrying to my feet. The tall, and I mean unhamely tall, person turned around and I saw a white mask but instead of a smiley face it had XD on it. “I’m the god of this world. You may address me as DreamXD.” His voice was echoey and sur-real. Dirty blonde tufts of hair poked out of the hood and two white halo’s that intersected floated above his head. “The one called “Dream” was about to try and harm you. You prayed for protection so I am fulfilling your prayer.” Then it clicked. This was the god that George told me about. The god reached out a hand and helped me to my feet. Techno was still in the corner eating potatoes and watching this. “Now. I will see you later mortals.” Then he disappeared. “Well then. That was something.” I said, not knowing what to do. Dream nodded. “Agreed.” Just then Sam yelled, “Are you okay Y/n!? Get on the platform!” I quickly got on the platform and yelled, “I’m on! Get me out of here!” The platform pulled me back to the main area.
