“Are you okay!? Here, drink this, you'll feel better.” He said, handing me the potion. “What about-” “I already gave her one. You should take her home and let her rest…” I nodded and went over to her friends who were trying desperately to wake her up.

Puffy looked up at me and then back at her. “Will she be okay?” She asked, cautiously. “I… I don’t know yet. I’m going to take her home so she can rest properly. I will update you all when something happens.” She nodded and her other friends backed away as I scooped her up into my arms. Her face was overcome by anguish as I picked her up.

‘What is going on with her? She seems scared… I wish I could help her.’ I quickly teleported us back to her room and I laid her down on the bed and carefully tucked her in as Blizzard ran in and jumped onto the bed, cuddling her. As I went to leave the room I heard a slight sob escape her mouth.

I quickly turned around and saw a tear fall from her eye as Blizzard meowed and rubbed her body against the sleeping girl. I walked over and laid down beside her and pulled her to my chest. I felt a pang in my heart as another tear fell along with another quiet sob. Her cat was looking anxiously at her and jumped onto her side.

I picked up the cat and sat her on the other side of her. I had to do that a few times before she gave up and curled into a ball behind Y/n. I ran my fingers through her hair carefully, when something caught my eyes. A piece of the egg was stuck to the back of her neck. ‘How did I not notice that before!? That’s probably what’s causing her coma-like state.’

I sat up and quickly, so it wouldn’t hurt too much, ripped the piece of the egg off of her. The wound started bleeding so I quickly grabbed some bandages from her bathroom and wrapped it around her neck. This continued for at least a week.

Until one day I stopped and looked at her as she laid on the bed. Her face, which previously showed anguish, now looked peaceful and serene. Her hair was fanned out perfectly under her as she slept. ‘I need to stop this. It’s taboo to love a human as a god… But this feeling feels so nice… No. I need to put a stop to this.’ I teleported away, quickly to talk to Foolish.

~Y/n’s POV~

Suddenly, after what felt like hours one of my friends and my brother yelling and bullying me, they all disappeared in a puff of smoke, leaving me in the dark, empty, void. It was kinda reassuring in a weird way. After a while I woke up. My head wasn’t fuzzy anymore, I had complete control of myself, but my neck was all bandaged up.

I heard a knock on my door as I got up and once I opened it I saw Sapnap. “Are you okay? I heard what happened at the red banquet and I got worried…” I jumped at him, wrapped my arms around him. He hugged me back and rubbed my back.

“Are you okay?” “I am now. Come inside and I’ll explain.” I said, leading him inside, quickly. “Where’s the god guy?” “I have no clue he’ll probably come back soon.” Sapnap sat down with me at the couch as I explained everything I remembered up until I woke up.

Including the nightmare and everything they said. He hugged me and said, “I would never say anything of the sort, I promise. Neither would anyone else. You're a good person. I think I would know since you are my sister.” “Well you better!” I said, pushing him away playfully as we laughed.

“Remember that time, me, you, George, and Dream were messing around and you got stuck in a net trap?” “Shut up!” “It took us an hour to get you down because you kept squirming around!” Sapnap said as we laughed hysterically.

We continued reminiscing about everything, from embarrassing things we did as children to serious things like his marriage between him, Karl, and Quackity and Karl’s memory loss. “I should get going. It’s a long walk from here to Kinoko, even with my trident.” “Farewell I’ll see you out.”

I walked him to the door and waved as he walked away. I sighed as I shut the door and sat back down on the couch. Blizzard came over and jumped into my lap, meowing at me over and over again. “Ok, ok! I’ll get you some food, chill kitty.” I moved her from my lap and she jumped down off the couch and ran into the kitchen to wait.

The moment I set down the bowl of food and water she devoured it. “Well someone was hungry huh?” I sat down beside her and petted her as she finished eating and hopped into my lap, curling into a fluffy ball. I smiled softly as she fell asleep, purring.

The house was completely quiet as I ended up falling asleep on the ground with Blizzard in my arms. I couldn’t help but wonder where Exdee went.

~Exdee’s POV~

As I appeared, Foolish yelped but quickly noticed something was wrong. “Woah. What happened!? Is Y/n okay!? Did something happen-” “She’s fine. The cause of her coma-like state was a piece of the egg that was attached to the back of her neck, under her hair. But that’s not the issue… I- I think I- I think I love her…” “Aww, but why is that a problem?”

“Because it’s against the rules of immortality, Foolish remember?” “Right… Hmm… That’s a tough one to overcome… Maybe you can make her angel of revival? You know like Cristen did with Phil?” “That’s a possibility but… What if she says no?” Foolish put a hand on his chin and thought for a moment.

“Well if she doesn’t like you back then I would probably try and move on, maybe distance yourself from her, but if she says no because she doesn’t want to be immortal like you then just enjoy the time you have with her. It’s understandable if she doesn’t want to be immortal. Imagine having to watch as your friends get older and die while you stay young and ageless.”

“True…” I sighed. “Why must this be so complicated…” Foolish laughed as we continued walking around… Well I was floating in my god form, he was walking. “Don’t laugh at me!” “It’s getting a bit late, don't you think you should go and check on her?” I looked around and realized that it was indeed getting late.

“She’s probably still asleep anyways.” “Maybe. But what if she isn’t?” I fought back the urge to teleport to her immediately. “No. I would know if she were awake.” ‘No I wouldn’t. There’s too many people here..’ “Well I’m going to sleep, and you may be happy to hear that your statue is almost finished.” “Great! Night.”

Then my brother went into his house and went to sleep. I huffed before deciding to go and check on her. I teleported to her home and went into my human form. I entered and realized very quickly that she wasn’t in her bed. I searched all over the house before finding her asleep on the floor of the kitchen with Blizzard curled up in her arms.

I chuckled quietly before picking both of them up. ‘Mortals are odd… It’s so cold down there… Why would she be here? Maybe she actually did wake up.’ I took her to her room and laid her down gently so as to not wake them up. As I was going to leave I heard soft cries. I turned around and saw the girl starting to tear up.

I quickly sat down on the bed and pulled her towards me as the kitten jumped off the bed and left the room. I started wondering what it would be like to wake up to this forever… That’s when I decided. She must be mine. I will make her my angel. I will protect her with my life.

No matter what. I kissed the top of her head and started playing with her hair. She seemed to calm down. I found myself drifting off as well.
