Y/n and Wanda are trying to live a simple normal life after they lost everyone when Endgame ended. Y/n, who wants to start a new life, doesn't get the chance because Wanda doesn't want to lose her just like how she lost everyone else.
Shortly when...
After the gang finished with school, they decided to go to the woods behind the campus to pick out the chestnuts for the tarts they were going to make.
"Whoa! There really are a ton of chestnuts just layin' around. I'm gonna be livin' large on chestnut tarts! Mmm! Let's get grabbin'—YOWCH!" Grim pulled away before he could fully grab the chestnut. "Myah! The chestnut spines pricked my paws!"
"Idiot. Think before you act." (Y/n) scolded and she quickly pulled the thorn out of Grim's paw.
"I don't think we can do this with our bare hands. And we need something to put them in, too." Said Deuce.
"Maybe we can find some supplies in the botanical garden?" Ace suggested.
"Let's take a look." The gang then made it to the botanical garden in the school and were pretty amazed by how it looked.
"Whoa, I didn't realize this place was so huge." Ace commented.
"If it's this large, it's got to have a groundskeeper. Let's split up and look." Deuce suggested.
"Sure. Dibs on the right side." Ace quickly left after that.
"Then how about I got left, while Grim and his prefect go straight ahead?" Deuce suggested.
"Sounds like a plan, Deuce." (Y/n) agreed as she held Grim in her hands. Soon after, he jumped out of her arms and looked around, while walking far away from (Y/n).
"Hey, come take a look at this!" Grim grabbed the copper redhead's attention, pointing at the fruit that was in the trees. "There's a ton of fruit growing here! Smells like they're ripe, too!"
(Y/n) failed to follow Grim since she tried to make sure he didn't do anything stupid. "Hey now, don't touch anything." Looking around, she noticed that some specific flowers and plants weren't familiar to her, "Wow. I've never seen these types of flowers before."
As she admired the scenery, (Y/n) felt something at the bottom of her shoe from where she stepped and then heard a gruff voice speak.
"Ouch!"
"Grim, please tell me that was you." (Y/n) wished as she quickly moved from where she stepped. Next to the path from where they stood, a man who had animal-like features stood up from the bushes and glared at the two.
