Nicely Mattheo was a player, truthfully he was man slut who always had some chick on his arm. It was no surprise when he would walk with a new girl clinging onto his arm. A few months later after that fateful party, Mattheo and daphne had that one kiss and it never happened again so to no one's surprise when it was announced that 2 Slytherins who everyone knew that they had an attraction to one another started dating and just as quickly they were so accurately called by all the muggle borns as the ken barbie of the school though after just a few weeks they realised that neither one really had an emotional connection to one another and once the beginners lover sex excitement wore off the decided to go there seperate ways and that when they broke it off

What was more of a surprise then Theo and daphne ending quicker then they got together is when rumours started to fly about Theodore and daphne's best friend and dorm mate y/n l/n, a slytherin in Theo, daphne and Mattheo's year who was a lone wolf that enjoyed reading but that certainly didn't mean she didn't cause trouble, let's say she had an affinity for spray painting and teaming up with peeves, which couldn't be counted as friend considering he's you know dead.  The surprise came when y/n was spotted actually engaging in conversation with her best friends ex and the rumours were only half true because while they had kissed after they spent the day at hogshead Theo was only doing his friend a favour as she had never been kissed.

Riddle and l/n grew close through 1 there mutual friend ( mr teddy ) and 2 being partnered on an astronomy assignment as they both took that class. This meant they spent a while up at the astronomy tower in the dark alone which when you think about is a perfectly beautiful place to fall in love which is what happened. Everyone noticed Mattheo for the past few weeks had stopped fucking every girl he made eye contact with and the only eye contact he had was when he would stare at his project partner from across the room.

Once again rumours were quick to fly that finally Mattheo riddle had fallen for a girl.
