Chapter 2: Deku VS Hya Rap Battle: Full Cowl!

"NOW, WELCOME TO THE RING OUR NEXT PLAYERS! HE'S GOT SOME SKILLS BUT WITH SOME CREEPY LOOKING ELBOWS, FROM THE HERO COURSE, IT'S SERO HANTA VS. A TRANSFER STUDENT WHO IS WAY TOO STRONG FOR HER OWN GOOD, AS HER FUNKIN' LOOKS AND STRENGTH, SOMEONE WHO GOT RIGHTFULLY INTO THE HERO COURSE THROUGH TRANSFERRING. IT'S HYA EVANS!!"

Hya kept her head down with an emotionless expression, which Midoriya and Uraraka noticed

Sero used his tape to wrap around Hya and swung her around the area, still touching the ground. The look on Hya's face is very unusual, she looked like she was about to kill something or someone

"Sorry about this..." That was all she could say and uses her ice to freeze Sero on the spot but the ice got out of control and froze the entire side of the stadium, the side where her class was to be specific

Midoriya and the others completely freaked out about how close the ice is to them

"D-Don't you think you w-went a bit overboard, Evans?!" Sero said, still stuck on the ice

"Sorry..."

"Tell the truth, Sero, can you move?" Midnight asked

"Are you kidding? Of course not, my body's freezing!"

"SERO HAS BEEN IMMOBALIZED! EVANS ADVANCES TO THE NEXT ROUND!"

Everyone in the crowd was silence, trying to process what just happened

"Sorry about that, it was a bit too much... I didn't mean to... I was... just angry and sad, that's all..." Hya said

'The crowd shouted to make Sero-kun feel better and Hya-san uses her quirk again to disassemble the ice prison she made and caught him in. For some reason at that moment... she looked very sad to me.'

Third Person's POV

After Uraraka and Bakugo's match with Uraraka lose the match, Hya ran and ran to the nurse's office while Midoriya followed her, running but she tripped

"Ahh! Ow..."

"Hya-san! Are you alright?!" He ran up beside her and knelt down to check on her

"I-... I'm fine..." He could see she was already crying as she got up with her voice already breaking

"Dammit... just... dammit...!" She breaks down and held her head and clenched her fist where her heart was

"Hey, tell me what's wrong."

"It's just... it pains me to see my best friend since yesterday getting hurt. She gave it her all. She... she could've been able to beat Bakugo. She even promised me to see each other in the finals... but I guess... promises can be broken when you expected it and in the end... I... couldn't do anything for her..." She then felt arms wrapped around her, making her eyes widened

"Hey, it's okay. She did her best and that's all it matters. The pros saw how strong she was. If one of us became 1st, 2nd, or 3rd, that will make her proud, so let's do that for her. Okay?"

She stopped crying and sighed heavily

"Right... you're right about that, Midoriya-kun... argh, I ain't have time for crying! *Sighs* Thanks, Midoriya-kun... I... needed that..." She said and hugs him back slowly

"I've got to get going now. Bye!" He said, running off before jumping up and down with happiness, totally forgetting all that happened to Uraraka

"Yeah, see ya." She said
