Ch 2 : Fooled

> JIEUN'S POV

" How can you say that you can't live happily as anyone else ? "

I startled and automatically looked up to the figure standing behind me . He didn't hesitated to give me his handkerchief but I don't even take it from him . Then he put it back into his pocket and nodded as a response

" Pardon m— "

" I know it's hard for you . But things will change , you don't feel this way forever .  You can feel better and living a happy life as you wish . She'll must be happy for you too " He said cut off my word trying to calm me down

I got up from kneeled down on the ground and huffed as I looked at him . Did he come here just to be my advisor or something ?

" Sorry , but I don't need your meaningless advice here " I said showing no emotion towards him

" And what are you doing here ? " I said coldly

I actually don't feel like talking to anyone right now . I looked at him with the same expressions and then turned my gaze to the red rose he brought with him

" Uhm . I'm sorry I didn't mean it " His innocent voice pleaded

" I'm just— " I quickly cut him off

" Sorry , I'm tired . I need to go  " I said then leaving him alone and headed to the car as dad was waiting for us in hour

I sighed as I sit at the back seat . I shut my eyes trying to calm my shabby mind

" Where's your brother ? " Dad questioned me as he looked at my reflection through the car inside mirror

" I don't know " I said act like I didn't saw him a few minutes ago

The next day

As she saw her own reflection and her full school uniforms that she wear , she sighed heavily

The tangled of her hair is neatly tied and the last things she do is put a lip balm on her dry lips

Although she is lazy to go to school but her appearance including the what she wears , hair ties and makeup is very important to Jieun

School break is finally over and all she has to deal now is she need to go to school everyday . Because the school rules is so strict about attendance of their students . Despite these rules , she once dared run from her PE classes on her past semester but no one never knew

Jieun's brain hovering over how she can skips her schools at least for one day but she'll probably be in a big troubke if her dad finds out

" Let's go to that shithole " She said mumbled to herself as she rolled her eyes then took her bag before going to the downstairs

" Good morning Jieun " That voice greeted her as she smiled brightly towards Jieun who went to the dining room and sit down on the chair , the hot tea was already poured in her cup

" Morning " Jieun gave a short replied as a response

Jieun take a sip of tea as she looked at her dad was busy scrolling his phone with his serious face as there was a big problem about his work that he need to handle . Jieun then looked at the woman who take a seat beside him

" Honey , don't forget your necktie " She said as she put the necktie on his neck and tied it for him

Dad smiled and kiss her cheeks " Thanks honey "
