Ch 5 : Suspicious

" It's .. Ni-Ki " Jieun flinched when she heard  ' Ni-Ki ' and saw that one figure that she knew really standing outside her class . At that moment , Ni-ki gave a small wave calling Youn out the class as he smiled brightly towards her

Jieun's mind became to wander with several questions . " What is he doing here ? Why does he always show up no matter where I am even he is now in front of my class ? And .. how does he know that bi- ? "

Jieun then shooked her head quickly try to snapped out of her thoughts . She laid back head on the table as she looked to her watch . It's 5 minutes left before the next lesson started . Jieun sighed then turned her attention to the window

" Hey , Youn ? Is that your new boyfriend ? "

"Isn't that a Japanese student that transferred here you said earlier ? "

" Wait , are you really dating him ? "

" Well , guessed it " Youn said with smile at her face try to makes everyone curious

" Aww Youn . What's with that face , you make us curious right now , you know ? " Imgyeol whined as she slapped Youn's arm slowly tried to persuade her to tell the truth

" Try to guess until you get it girls " Youn said as she gave a small laugh in response

" Do you keep it as a secret with us now ? How dare you.. tch " Sunyeol crosses her arms  to her chest as she pout

" Huh you guys are very dramatic . Let's just forget about it . It has nothing to do with you all " Youn said trying to shoved them away but her intention was ignored by Sunyeol , Imgyeol and Jihu

" By the way , why did he come here looking for you ? " Jihu asked while checking her face on pocket mirror

" He wanted to thank me for helping him and giving me that " Youn pointed with her mouth to the food that Ni-ki bought for her

" What ? Really ? " Jihu questioned with her disbelief face

" Aw , he's so sweet ! " Imgyeol exclaimed with her sparkling eyes

" I wish that my boyfriend could treated me like that too hm " Sunyeol interrupted and all their eyes went on her trying to hold back their giggled as they looked to each other

" In your dream Sunyeol ssi . You don't even have a boyfriend "

" What the hell ? Do yo all look down on me? " Sunyeol replied , shot a mad glare to them then rolled her eyes as she mumbled to herself

Jieun who heard their conversation gossiping about Ni-ki snorted as she make a mocking face . She actually incredulously didn't expect that slender man could make other people fangirling over him

The bell rang making Ni-ki felt relieved because the time he was waiting for is over . Ni-ki left the class while carrying his backpack wanting to go to the school gate

He had time to see the very wide area of ​​the school, observing every place so that he would not forget and get lost again the next day

But then Ni-ki remembered something and automatically stopped his steps and waited outside the school gate , scanned every person passing by as he looking for a glimpse of someone

" Where's Jieun ? " He said to himself while persistently searching for Jieun . As Ni-ki wanted to take his phone out of the pocket, suddenly someone tapped him on the shoulder make he immediately turned his gazes to that figure and it's Heesung followed by the others member

" Hey Ni-ki . Do you want to walk home with us ? " Heesung asks as he puts his arm over Jake's shoulder . Ni-ki saw Jake beside him shot a brightly smile towards him makes Ni-ki smiled back to him too

" Hmm " Ni-ki had time to think for a seconds before answering Heesung

" But , I'm waiting for someone . Maybe next ti- "

" Oooh really ? Who are you waiting for ? " Jake asked

" Is it your .. girlfriend ? " Jake continued with his teasing tone making Ni-ki blurted but suddenly Jake scream in pain when Jay hit his arms though it's not too hard

" Yah ! Why did you hit me ? "

" Why do you asks him so many questioned ? You just make him uncomfortable you know ? " Jay complained , looking at Jake while shaking his head .

" Oh was I ? I'm sorry Ni-ki " Jake quickly apologized to Ni-ki with his pleading face

" It's okay . It's not a big deal by the way " Ni-ki replied not wanting to make him feel guilty then shot a smile as nothing happened because he didn't even care about Jake's question earlier

" Okay , so we gotta go . Anyeong Ni-ki san! " Heesung said and all of them waved at him before going home

" Bye Ni-ki ! Take care "

" Oh by the way , do you want to play basketball with us tonight ? " Heesung asked

" Of course I would like to " Ni-ki immediately answered , nodded excitedly

" Yea that's cool . I'll get going then . See you tonight ! " Heesung waved at Ni-ki before running after his members that already left him behind

After no longer seeing a glimpse of them, Ni-ki looked away and saw Jieun walking out to the school gate. He waved his hand to make sure she could see him that was waiting for her there but his action made he feel like a fool . Jieun didn't even notice Ni-ki because she just focused on her phone while walking

Ni-ki waved his hand again and was about to calling her " Kim Ji- "

" Hi Ni-ki ? Are you waiting for someone here ? " But that one voices makes Ni-ki immediately looked away to that one figure

He saw Youn tilt her head as she asking him but Ni-ki only managed to smile and not answer her question because his eyes were continued directed to Jieun who walked pass him

They both exchanges glances but she just walked away as if she didn't see Ni-ki that was waiting for her several minutes in front of the school gates

" Erm Ni- "

" Sorry but Youn I need to go now . Goodbye ! " Youn frowns when Ni-ki acting weird brushing off her words as he walked quickly following Jieun from behind

" Hey you shorty ! Can you slow down ? Are you being chased by a ghost " Ni-ki said almost burst into laughter , teasing Jieun makes she stopped her steps for awhile and glared at him

" Yes, I was indeed chased by ghosts . The ghost is YOU " Jieun replied as she pointing her finger in front of Ni-ki's face

" Yah Kim Jieun . How dare youuu " Ni-ki said as he pouted

" Don't follow me . It's annoying "

" Then just consider me invisible as long as I don't get lost to go home " Ni-ki said then remain silent as he walked behind Jieun with his hand tucked neatly in his pocket

" Ugh whatever " Jieun gave up . They ended up walking without saying a word because tired of arguing

Little did they know , Youn who had been watching them became suspicious because the relationship between Ni-ki and Jieun seemed very close
