Chapter 47

(Y/n)'s POV

I wake up at the morning but Michael hasn't come back. Sudden sadness fills me again. I couldn't believe that he would leave us just like that but maybe he was just doing a favor for Killian and I. get up and make my way downstairs. Ally was already doing some breakfast with a smile on her face. "Morning (Y/n). How are you feeling?" She asked from me before she moves to the coffee maker.

"Michael is gone." I say to her which made her turn to look at me. She seemed to be confused for a moment but once she saw my sad face she gives me a sad smile. "You know how he is. He comes and goes as he pleases. You can't tame him. It's in his blood." I know what she was trying to do but it didn't help at all. "I have to go to hospital with Killian. To make sure that he's fine." She nods before she turns to look at the eggs that were frying on the pan. "Let's eat breakfast before we go. We need to get taxi since Michael took my car."

I let out a little laugh at that. He surely took everything he wanted, didn't he? "I'll go get Killian. Might as well feed him now." I start to walk towards the stairs. Sunny and Toby were sleeping next to each other on the couch. I smile at them before I go get Killian. He was already cooing in his grib as I get to him. "Morning sunshine." I say to him with a smile on my face. He looks at me before he reaches to me.

I lift him in my arms and give him a hug. "Let's go eat. Then we'll go for an adventure." He cooes again as I start to walk back downstairs. "We are going to be fine. Your dad will come back once he finishes the things he needs to do. Meanwhile we are going to take care of you." I know that he wouldn't remember anything about this but I hoped that he wouldn't hate Michael for leaving once he was older.

We get back downstairs and Ally has already put a plate on the table for me. "Thank you Ally. I don't know what I would do without you." She smiles at my words as I sit down to my seat. "Don't worry about it dear. I know that you would do the same to me." She says happily before she takes a bite from her breakfast. I smile before I start to open up my shirt so I could start feeding Killian. Thankfully he latches on easily and feeds without any problems.

I start to eat too while I look at the cats bowls. They had eaten some of their food but there was also some left. Maybe they weren't so hungry at the morning. After all some things have changed around the house which might affect their behavior. I bet that they would be fine after some time. "The cats will be fine but what about you?" I hear Ally suddenly say which made me turn to look at her almost shocked. How did she know that I was thinking about them?

"I'll be fine... I think. However I will be less stressed once I make sure that Killian is fully healthy." I say to her which makes her hum. "He seems to be fine but I understand that you worry about him. What are you going to do with the birth certificate?" I haven't thought about that yet. I knew that I couldn't give him Michael's last name since it would bring Killian more trouble in the future that he need. I don't want him to face that.

"He'll take my last name since giving him his father's name would make his life a living hell." She nods in agreement. "It will but what happens when people learn out who his father is?" I knew that she was right but I almost didn't want to think about it. "I don't know. I try to hide it as long as I can, but I won't move away from here just yet." I didn't want to move since I was still hopeful that Michael would come back and find us here...

Ally doesn't say anything about that but I think she didn't want to push me any further. I finish my breakfast as Killian stops eating. I lift him to my shoulder and pat his back so he would burp. Once he does it I get up and walk towards the living room. There was a little play area for him. I put him down there before I go do my morning routine. I needed to brush my teeth and go to the shower before I go to the hospital. I want to make sure that I would look somewhat presentable.
