(Ms. Honey's P.O.V.)
Roe held my hand as we made our way to the library. I had promised her that we would go there, because she had read every book in my house. Granted I only owned a few books and get all the other books from the library. After Thomas had left her on my doorstep she hadn't really talked or smiled much. So bringing her to the library, I hoped that she would light up a bit. But upon arrival she didnt even show some sort of happiness. I sighed but we continued to walk inside the library. I leaned down and told her where her type of books are located. She nodded slightly before turning to the bookshelf with adventure books while I walked to the bookshelf with the genre history. Every once in a while I saw Roe grab a book and  look through it quickly before putting it back. Eventually I saw her walk away from the bookshelf and go towards a window before sitting down by it. She had a book with her so I continued to search for the books I needed. When I walked away from the history books to the science books, I turned to take one more look at Roe. She was still by the window. But intead of reading she was now sitting in the windowsill. Curiousity struck me and I walked over to her. Looking out the window I saw that it had started to rain and the droplets trailed down the glass of the window. I watched Roe follow them with her finger. "I'm just going to the science section, alright?" I told her. Without looking at me she nodded at me. I smiled and walked to the science section of the library. But later I saw that Roe had come to find me.

I walked through the library but froze when I saw something. By one of the bookshelves stood Ms Honey, searching for a book and down by her leg was Roe. Who was sitting on the ground and leaned against Ms Honey's leg while reading a book. If you didn't know the two, you would think that they are mother and daughter. It's as if they where made for each other. Like they actually are mother and daughter with a relationship that is magical yet complex. Any man who see's a woman act in such a loving way with a child would fall on love straight away. Not becuase of how beautifull she may be or how smart, but how she treats a child that isn't her like they are her own. Watching them, I felt my hand clench with guilt that I couldn't give Roe the same what Ms Honey can. But this guilt I would later learn was just jealousy. I forgot why I was actually here and made the decision to turn around and leave.

Eventually I had found the books I needed. I looked down at Roe who was still leaning against my leg reading a book. I softly nudged her with my leg. Her bright emerald eyes looked up at me in question. "Ready to go?" I asked her, she nodded and extended a hand at me so I could help her up. Together we walked to the counter to pay for the books before leaving for home. Eventhough Roe was trailing behind me because she was jumping in the puddles, looking at flowers or swinging around the street lights. I knew she would still keep a close eye as to not fall to far behind. I decided thay we could take the route through the park. I turned right to go underneath the viaduct but froze when I saw what was in front of me. It was Mr Shelby and Lizzie Stark. I hadn't heard what they said to each other but grew angry when I watched them kiss.

Was he for real? I thought he had brought Roelynn to me to keep her safe because of some war that might come

Was he for real? I thought he had brought Roelynn to me to keep her safe because of some war that might come. Not because he wanted more privacy with a female. If I didn't hear Roe's skipping feet behind me, I would've gone off on Thomas for abandoning Roelynn like this. But I controlled my anger and turned myself around so I could intercept Roe before she would see them together. Confused she had looked up at me and questioned why we didn't continue to go through the park. I hated that I needed to lie to her sweet face, but I did to protect her. "They are working on the path, so we sadly have to take the way past the trainstation" I told her and grabbed her hand to guide her away from the viaduct. I watched her lip pout and her head hung low but she walked with me none the less. I had turned my head to see if they had walked out from underneath the viaduct. Luckily they hadn't and I breathed out in relief. But that day it had become clear to me, that from now on I will protect and fight for little Roe untill my last breath. If he won't do it, I will and if he ever wants her back. He will have to go through me first.
