Pieces To Survive

Chapter 27

Third person P.O.V.-

As the two kids run back to the cabin, they fear for their friends life. Everyone was clueless. No one was looking at the clues. So when Thomas burst in through the door, all eyes landed on him.

No light was turned on, there were several candles in the small living area. Worry and confusion was planted on the friends, but Alex and Tom knew that everyone had something to fear. After looking to make sure all his friends we're there, even the two girls that was weeping in the room earlier; Thomas had turned to lock the door and place a chair under the handle.

"What is it?"

"Is something wrong?"

"What seems to be the problem?"

Everyone came flouting questions at them. They were lost for words, but time Wasn't going to stand still. Acting fast, Alex informed her friends everything that was going on and where everyone had been wrong.

"You can't possibly be serious right..." Said Talia who seemed like she was starting to tremble.

"So... This is all part of some stupid survival game? We're just a bunch of board game pieces going here and there?" Said Ajaylyne. Who knew she was that dark.

"No, that's not what's happening!" Said Kyle with a loud and furious tone in his voice.

"You're lying..." He whispered looking at Alex.

"I can assure you I am not lyi-"

"ADMIT THAT YOU'RE LYING!" He yelled while getting up to be in front of her.

"Why don't you believe me?!" Alex replied as if she was starting to cry.

"Cause your the only one in this goddamn cabin complaining everyday about how you wanna leave and shit and how spirits are everywhere! JUST SHUT UP WITH THAT SHIT! Your such an attention whore like give it up!" You start to see the veins popping out of his neck.

"I'll have you know that I'm NOT an attention whore... and I'm NOT making this up! Thomas saw it too! I was speaking from both of our perspectives!" Kyle looked at Thomas and Thomas was slowly turning his fear of what he experienced into a face of confusion.

"This puzzle piece, we found in the woods... But now that you've said that Kyle, I think you may be right..." Thomas said low but loud enough for anyone to here.

"Thomas... What are you saying?" Alex said with a confused yet scared voice.

"It could have been you who put this puzzle piece in the woods..."

"What?!" Alex said as her eyes opened wide.

"...Yeah. It makes sense now. Your doing all of this, not only to break up with me, but to ruin everything we have just so you can have all the attention..."

"WHAT! You're all jumping to conclusions and didn't even bother listening to what I have to say! I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU WOULD THINK THAT OF ME!" Alex seems sad but furious.

"After all we've been through Thomas... After what you saw... You're really gonna agree to that?"

...... Thomas didn't answer, didn't even look at Alex.

"I see." Alex slowly starts to look around the room to see if anyone else wants to say anything. But none spoke up.

"Just get out. You've caused enough trouble." Said Kyle.

"It'd be nice to know what I did cause I didn't do SHIT! AFTER ALL THESE FUCKING YEARS YOU WOULD ACTUALLY THINK THAT OF ME AND NOT EVEN BOTHER TO CONSIDER WHAT I HAVE TO SAY! I'M TRYING TO HELP YOU ALL! BUT SINCE YOU'RE TOO BLINDED BY WHAT'S HAPPENING THAN SO BE IT! THINK THAT WAY OF ME CAUSE I DON'T GIVE A CRAP ABOUT WHAT YOU GUYS THINK OF ME ANYMORE! ALL THAT MATTERS IS WHAT I THINK! ... AND YOU!" *SLAP* Out of everyone in here, I expecting you to believe me and be on my side... Such a boyfriend you were..." Alex went to open the door and before she went out she had one more thing to say.
