Nathan's pov:

Talia shut Erik out for the rest of the day since he kept trying to explain to her exactly what his piece actually meant.

"Nathan...please let's just get on with this. All we are doing is putting the piece so together, we still have to play the game," Magenta says worriedly. Her bump already started to show.

"I don't have anything to hide, you all know I'm an open book," I sigh putting my head in my hands. "Ok, I'm not a virgin!" I yell and everyone looks at me.

"We know that," Thomas laughs and everyone follows in pursuit, everyone except Talia.

"I didn't," she says and storms out the room.

"Wait, Talia!" I scream about to run after her.

Colton took ahold of my arm and turned me around. "Bro, that's not it and we don't have time for this. Think deep ok." They all stared at me for what seemed like forever. I search my head for even the simplest clue and start rambling out whatever I thought they didn't know about me.

"Also I drowned my dog, but that was because he was already sick and I didn't know-" I was interrupted by Kyle slamming his fist on the table.

"This shit is useless. Maybe he doesn't even have a piece. It's a small ass puzzle and...ugh who else is missing one?" He says looking really fustrated.

Pain, that's what I need to feel. But I'm, me? I don't have secrets. These people are my secret so- oh my, I know what I'm hiding!

Third Person pov:

Those in the shadows couldn't help but laugh at those helpless children. Oh what suffering they have yet to witness. Our monster is ready to shred them all to pieces for the game they are failing to play.

The lights had went out and screaming could be heard from the speakers set up. It was a very quick grab, but it had to be done.

Are those who plan this as ruthless as the devil himself? No. It is all but fun and games. People do survive, just not all.

When the lights finally turned on, the lot of friends had realized that one of them had gone missing from the kitchen.

"Go see if Talia is still here," the one known as Ajay demands of Colton.

"Jennifer!" Her desperate lover calls. The pregnant girl was no where in sight. All rooms were searched and so was the basement. Around the cabin and no sign of her.

"I'm going to kill you you son of a bitch," the lover had yelled.

After retrieving Talia, everyone sat in a circle in the living room gathering all the pieces.

"Ok, so we have Kyle's, Magenta's, Jen's, Erik, Tom's, and Ajay's pieces," the only one the gamers liked said.

"Alex, you still don't have yours," the youngest said.

"Um...I-I uh, already have mine." What a confession. Many faces, though, were broken.

"When?" The soon to be fallen lover proclaims.

Friendship was something that could easily be broken, not theirs.

"When we first found this place, when I said I didn't have a good feeling. The piece was right on top of the porch and it had my initials." Alex had took a rounded piece from her pocket. Only edges, no arms.

"Were you just going to keep your mouth shut about this the whole time?" Her lover had stood up in frustration.

"No, it is not like that. My piece is the centered one look," with everyone eyes traveling to the middle of the puzzle, Ajay eyes has not removed themselves from Nathans.

"Nate, what is going through your head?" All eyes immideitly turned to the fragile looking boy.

"I-I um...before you guys had, um, accepted me into your group about seven years ago I had a problem. It was little but-"

"JUST SAY IT FOR FUCK SAKES NATHAN!" Everyone pressured the kid.

The boys starts to sob uncontrollably, "I"M TRANS OKAY!" the boy tears kept coming and wouldn't stop.

No one dared to move or even breath. You're probably confused as to how neither one of his closest friends know this. Well, let the boy himself tell you...

Talia's pov:

My ears are deceiving me for sure. Nathan, trans, since when? "Was this before or after you meet us?" I was the first to speak up.

"Why does that matter? Nate, why didn't you just tell us? Were you scared we wouldn't accept you?" Magenta spoke. I was frozen, judging for that matter.

"I was born with boy parts, but am a girl. My "real" name is Natalie. My voice was always different. More girly until I hit age seven. I was always bullied in school and so my mom decided to move me here and after that, I met you guys. I had cut my hair and started to become the actual "boy" I was suppose to be. I'm still the same Nathan you all know and love, but this is the only thing I kept hidden." Nathan finished talking and was eyeing all of us. I didn't know which emotion to grasp onto, betrayal, hurt, hatred, sadness, or love?

"Guys please say something," Nathan spoke as his tears seemed to stop. Like the last time, I was the first to speak.

"I hate you, but I love you at the same time. I can't be mad at you but-"

BANG BANG BANG

The front door was trembling and out of instinct, I ran to Erik.

BANG BANG BANG

"Someone answer it," Ajay said, keeping a strong hold on Kyle.

Colton got up and walked towards the door. The banding stopped right when it clicked the knob and unlocked it.

"Who's there?" Colton ask once the door was fully open. There was no answer, but a huge light flashed onto Colton's face. Thomas got up to run and push Colton out of the way and shut the door.

Then not even a second later, something had slipped from outside of the door and brought something inside.

A/N:

I am taking forever to continue this. So very sorry but I do have a lot I wanna do with this book. It's just that I didn't start it alone with and half the things In here wasn't from me. So now I gotta go from start to finish in this whole changing thing. There's like 15 chapters left of the whole book anyways and I want it to be done soon, so please don't be mad. Just abit more patient. But this is a small filler. Thanks again!
