Chapter 11

Chapter 11-

Kyle's POV:

Thank god I'm on spring break. Less than two more months 'till I'll be graduating. Well all of my friends (except the two older ones in college and the two younger ones).

Right now I'm in my car going to meet Jennifer. She needs help trying to decide on an anniversary gift for Erik, and I need some advice on Ajaylyne. Were gonna meet up at the shopping center just right outside of town. Jen took the bus, so I'll be taking her home later on.

When I got to the mall, I noticed it was packed, but not as much as I expected. I spotted Jennifer at the bus stop seeming to be waiting for me. Jogging over to her, I noticed she wasn't facing me.

"Jen!" I said like seven feet away from her. She looked startled, but then recognized it was only me.

"You finally came. I was waiting for like twenty minutes," she told me. I gave her an apologetic smile and we began to walk in.

"So, what were you thinking about getting Erik?" I asked trying to get some talking done. Jen is a year younger than me, but we still keep it cool. And that's not just because were in the same group.

"Well, I really have a good idea. Remember that Nikon recording camera he's been constantly asking for?" I nodded my head understanding what she was talking about. "Ima get it for him. I have more than enough money saves up for it." Jen was explained all of this to me as we walked into subway since in hungry.

"Hu.... I have a great way for you to give it to him. But this has to be a group thing," I explained while getting on line.

"I'm all ears!" was her reply. "My cousin, Riley, has this amazing cabin by the beach. We can all go on a camping trip over there." Now that I really think about it, it does sound like a good idea since were all on spring break.

"That's a fantastic idea, Kyle. We'll take my moms old van she had before she died," just looking at her, I knew it was hard for her to say that.

When my order came, the both of us sat by a table next to the door. I bought a foot long for Jen and I. "That sounds like a plan then. Let's tell the others and leave next week Tuesday," she suggested.

"That's only three days away!" I exclaimed. "Then we better get to it." she smiled and started eating. Ima have to buy everything the morning we leave.

"Were all gonna have to help with expenses." I sure as hell hop she didn't think I was paying for everything. "Dub you idiot, she laughed. With that being said and done, I started eating without saying another word.

When we were done eating, we went to go and buy Erik's cam recorder. I also talked about Ajaylyne and what type of move should I make on her. " Save everything for the trip. Were all pretty honest about everything with one another, so give it a shot. I also heard that Alexandra and Thomas are going out now."

Well fucking thank the lord that this shit finally happened. I was smiling and nodding my head in acknowledgement. "What are we gonna do now?" I asked. Its already 5 in the afternoon and we've been here since 11:30 am walking around, eating, shopping, and talking.

"Well, I don't think I can carry anymore bags. So let's just go home." I loved her idea. Now I can go home and SLEEP UNTIL THE NEXT DAY!!!!

The both of us walked out of the mall and to where my car was parked. Placing the bags into the trunk, we hopped into the car and started to drive home. I'm not gonna lie, today was fun. I got myself a pair of new Jordan's, some clothes and just simple stuff. Jen did the same with herself, including Erik's gift.

"I'll tell the boys and you'll tell the girls?" That might have been an inaqurite question (p.s-spell check can kiss ass).

"Yeah. I already texted Magenta and Talia bout it. Ima tell Ajaylyne and Alexandra in person." Just hearing Ajs name sent butterflies to my stomach. I smiled up at her.

She turned the music up in the car and we drove the whole entire way home in a smoothing silence.
