(3rd person POV)

Giyuu wasn't sure that Shinobu took his phone or not. The most reasonable explanation would be that he dropped it on his way home or left it at school. He decided to shrug it off and look for it tomorrow at school to see if he accidentally left it there. Giyuu arrived at his front door and opened it, taking off his shoes and throwing his bag on the side. He then headed to the kitchen and washed his hands, grabbing an apple while he was at it, as a quick snack. He sat down on the sofa to see a note, "For Giyuu. I will not be home for the next 2 weeks, I need a break from you, I'll have a friend check up on you every once in a while, unless he doesn't come which is completely his choice, so bare with it. Don't ruin the house either, otherwise I won't hesistate to kick you out." Giyuu sighed and crumpled up the note, throwing it to the side, obviously his aunt couldn't stand him, it's been like this ever since he was born.

After Giyuu finished changing, he sat on the couch, turning on the tv and looking for a show to watch. Just then, he heard a knock at the door. 'Seriously? It's like, 9pm, who would come to my house this late?' He got off the couch and opened the door, to see no one standing outside. He was now angry, it was most likely one of his neighbours pulling a prank on him. He was about to step outside when he felt something under his foot. He lifted his foot up and saw his phone. 'Had it been here the whole time?' He thought. He picked up his phone to make sure there was no scratches on it, or it was broken. Luckily, everything was fine.

"...oka.."
"...mioka..!"
"GIYUU TOMIOKA!!"

Giyuu sat up straight awake. He had forgotten that he fell asleep in class, since he didn't get a wink of sleep last night. He got up and bowed to apologize and sat back in his seat, hand on his head. For some reason, all he could think about last night was Shinobu. But why? Was it because of the way she said his name, or maybe because they went to the cafe together? Giyuu sighed and leaned back in his chair. He couldn't focus at all today.

(Shinobus POV)

Hm, I wonder what's wrong with Tomioka. He was asleep in class today, and it looked like he was crying, maybe I should ask him about it later. The lunch bell rang so I got up and stood infront of Tomiokas desk, even though it's right behind mine. "Hey" I poked him on his arm. He looked up, 'Man, he looked hot' wait, what did I just think of? He looked hot?! What's wrong with me. My face probably went all red because he asked me if I had a fever, I said it was nothing and hen proceeded to ask him, "Do you wanna sit together at lunch today? It's really hot outside so I doubt you would wanna sit on the bench again. Let's just eat in the classroom" He sighed and got up, grabbing his lunch. He then left the classroom. I assumed that was a no and just sighed. How was I suppose to get information on him if he wasn't even cooperating?!

"Mitsuri, has Tomioka-San always been a closed up person?" Mitsuri looked at me and frowned, "Sadly yes. No matter how hard I try, he never seems to smile. I even went to his house once for a project, and not once did he smile when his aunt asked him something, or even checked up on him!!" "His aunt?" Mitsuri sighs, "There's rumours saying that his parents died when he was younger, so he lives with his aunt" Well, that explains much, "Is there anything I can do to make him, you know, smile? Or at least have some fuzzy feeling in his stomach?" Mitsuri put her hand on her chin, then her face lit up. "His birthday is next week! Maybe we could throw him a surprise party? I'm sure he would at least smile for that!"
