NORTH DETROIT

January 24th

Flatbed of the GMC

11:30pm

Dalton spread out the map that Leon and Xander were using to track the group from place to place.

Leon: "Matt, we hit you here, Woodward Avenue- Then we we made it to your apartmen-"

Matt: "My apartment is still intact, right?"

Dalton: "We only blew the door down and "rearranged" your furniture a bit"

Matt: "Oh thanks-"

Bryce: "Hey, just by quick talk? Which one of you did I shoot in the leg?"

Dalton: "...That would be m-"

Leon: "ENOUGH, chatting is for later- midnight isn't too far away"

Danny: "Well what fuckin point are you trying to make?"

Leon: "If I could speak, I'd tell you that the plan is simple- We can either do it two ways"

Alex: "Lemme guess, We go in all fuckin sneakin 'n shit or we go in and see how fast we can fucking get killed?"

Leon looked at Alex in a pissed off way for interrupting him and then looked at everyone else with a normal glance and threw his arms up.

Leon: "Would anyone else like to share their feelings and piss me off?"

Xander raised his hand and looked Leon right in the face, he had a long bandage around his entire torso due to the gunshot wound and glass shards. Leon bowed his head in defeat and looked up at the sky and raised his arm to Xander.

Leon: "Go ahead."

Xander: "Even with whatever your plan is- High alert for killing one of the main associates is in play. They expect either us or these fine gentlemen. How do you expect us to even make it passed the main door?"

Leon: "If you'd all stop talking and finally let me finish, then you'd understand-"

Everyone quieted down and let Leon explain. He'd been with the company longer than anyone and if someone were to know the in's and out's it'd be this guy. And so with everybody around the flatbed having a chance to talk it was time for a final rundown before the main show. Leon pulled out a bag from behind the back seat of the truck and laid it down on the ground. It had normal clothing for Xander, Leon and Dalton and also included more ammo just in case.

Leon: "We have the guns, armor, and this bag has all the ammo you need for stopping the Canadian Cartel"

Matt: "Think they're gonna shoot us on sight if we walk through the door with M4's and casual clothing?"

Leon: "You think I'd skip over a crucial step like that?"

Leon looked at Matt with a slight smile and laughed, he then gave out the final plan to stop the cartel at the renaissance center.

THE MARRIOTT RENAISSANCE DIVERSION PLAN

The group goes into the renaissance in two groups. The "Diversion Team" And The "Attack Team"

Team A consists of Danny, Matt, Xander and Leon. To create a diversion that will cause everyone running toward them and let Team B which consists of Alex, Dalton and Bryce sneak by the back entrance and find a way for both teams to reach the higher levels of the tower

Step three was getting up the tower trying to be sneaky and quiet as can be, no need to attract attention until needed.

Once making it to the rest of the Cornell's. Killing them and getting out of the tower free and with no one dead they could finally get out of the city. Maybe even with some money...

Bryce: "Straightforward, though that could be terrifying"

Leon: "Why? It doesn't need to be complex, besides... you guys have the easy job"

Dalton: "I beg to differ, we have an easier step... getting in with you guys covering us is the only thing that'll be easy in this job for both teams"

Xander: "Stop being a downer. They may have numbers and security but it doesn't mean they have brains"

Leon: "He's right... these fuckers don't have the slightest knowledge of how to fight us without guns"

Matt: "See, the problem is the fact they have guns at all"

Leon: "Half of them are cross eyed anyways"

Alex: "Fantastic... so we're going up against disabled children wielding guns"

Dalton: "If you wanna put it that way... sure, but it doesn't have a good ring to it"

Leon put away the map, and threw the bag of ammo back into the flatbed of the truck and turned to everyone with walkie talkies, just for communication.

Leon: "Everyone got this shit in the front of their minds?"

Danny: "Sure, but it's getting darker by the moment. So if I were you, less chat and more getting the fuck on with it"

Leon: "You guys talked over me for half the fucking explanation"

Danny lit a cigarette and looked at Leon with a strange eye and one eyebrow perked up

Danny: "Not my problem"

Alex snickered and got in his Stoner Van with Dalton and Bryce as Leon fired up the GMC and forwarded the other three to hop in the truck. It was now 11:40pm as both were driving down the now half empty streets of Detroit, the smell of sewage and blood was in the air... normal smell for a decrepit city like this, but in the next couple of hours those smells would become all too familiar with them...
