It's a beautiful spring day and I'm at the park alone, listening to the birds sing. I sit on a swing and take a look around. I notice that I'm here alone. I take advantage of this and begin singing. I love to sing. It takes me to another place of peace and happiness. I'm so lost in the song I'm singing that I don't hear the person walking up behind me.

"So you're a fan of Mayday Parade?" Startled, I jump from my place on the swing and spin around. A boy I've never seen before stands a few feet behind where I was currently sitting. We study each other in the dead silence. As I study him I take notice that he has the most beautiful green eyes that I've ever seen. His pitch-black hair hangs over one eye, headphones loose around his neck.

"Would you be so kind enough to remind me what the name of that song is?", he said in a fake British accent. I slowly relaxed my stance and looked at the ground.

" Terrible things." I mumbled, embarrassed.

"Huh? I didn't quite catch that sweetheart.", he said as he cupped his hand around his ear and leaned forward.

" Terrible things." I backed away from this stranger, suddenly very aware of how alone we were.

"Ah now I remember. Come sit." He takes the swing next to the one I had jumped from. I slowly made my way back to my swing and cautiously sat down. Suddenly, he leans over, the quick movement causing me to turn my head. His face is inches from mine, his emerald green eyes staring into my own.

We sit like this for what seems like forever when he slowly reaches his hand to my face turning it slightly. I'm about to push him away when he kisses my cheek and walks away. As I recover from the shock of what just happened I turn to find that he is nowhere to be seen. I stand up slowly, looking around for any sign of movement or any proof that he was really there at all. A little spooked, I take off running and I didn't stop until I was at my ex's house. I'm about to walk through the gate when I realize where I am and stop. I turn and walk home slowly, wondering who that boy was.
