"shit." mason shouted as he sat up. he just had the worst nightmare. he fell asleep after texting his girlfriend over 30 times. he called her too.

on her last post people were making very sexual comments about her and her outfit, even though that's what everyone wears to the beach.

mason knew esme wouldn't like this, and he was leaving today so he wanted to make sure esme was okay before he left.

in his dream esme overdosed on her anxiety pills, which he's always praying wouldn't happen. and it was all because of the comments.

mason technically didn't even take his mom's 'advice', he ended up facetiming esme.

it took a few rings before esme answer, and she looked confused at mason's panicked face.

"that because of those sexual comments on your beach post you over dosed in your anxiety pills. everyone texted you, i mean everyone."

"i'm ok mase, alright." esme said. "are you sure?" mason sighed. "positive, i've gained a lot more confidence before then im fine, but... today's your last day so what you really should be doing is hanging out with me."

"can we just chill, like at your house." mason said. "fiona and miguel are coming over, so we'll be with them, and jace is hanging out with his baseball friends."

"well we're just gonna watch a movie and chill around 5, so pop over then."

so maybe esme wasn't at track...but she wasn't cheating on mason. she was trying to film this stupid tiktok with zayla and fiona, to 'when i see you i go go nuts'

let's just say esme was more of a dancer than them.

the song started and they started dancing before fiona tripped and fell. "honestly we should break." esme said.
